House of Wolves has brought back the worst aspect of Destiny.
Grinding is one thing, standing around for 10 minutes waiting for "wolves" ships to spawn is not grinding, it's a complete and utter waste of time. It makes me not want to play the game knowing that if I want to keep up with everyone, I am forced to stand around for 10 minute increments hours on end just to have a slim chance at getting a key so the end game is not a complete waste of time. What a nightmare.
Edit: Keep the "no one forces you to play Destiny" comments coming. I am building quite a list of muted basement trolls.
Edit 2: Bungie fixed it with today's update. To all the negative posters, shove it!

Key grinding is a little annoying. Luckily Trials exists and it is even more fun for better gear.

Modificato da Snyph3r: 5/23/2015 12:01:10 AMHeres a tip that may or may not work with you guys...it worked for me a few times.... when you go to the place to get the bounty done and there seems to be no one or takes a few minutes to show up, try exiting out of the area and then ride back in like doing the chest glitch. It looks like you would come back in on different server...a few times I went back in the middle of the bounty fight...

3 RisposteI think they have looked at the lack of patrols done since adding vendors selling materials and this is the outcome , more patrols more events complete makes the numbers look better I suppose

You should be able to buy keys from xur at the very least. Farming needs to end already. There's enough to do in this game now. Who has a few extra hours a week to grind for that week's keys??

Right. They should give everyone exploiting the chests all the free keys they want! How about exotics too?

Ah, I went and got a ps4 and the witcher today. Gonna take a break as well, getting to 34 is a joke now, vendors just give the armour. I'll still come back for nightfalls each week as I can't function in the real world without knowing I have the nf buff ;p

I think a lot of people feel left out if they aren't maxed out right from the beginning when they see others already at 32 and above. I just play it when I can and as long as I can. Being first doesn't get you anything. Those who completed ToO first, doesn't matter. When/if you finally play it you'll get the same chance they got to get what they have and if you can't get a team to go flawless, doesn't matter either. If your level 34 then your level 34 with our without it. Just play at your own pace and have fun.

but you don't have to grind though is the thing. think about it, if keys were super easy to get how much less fun the dlc would be. there are already people lvl capped on day, what, 3? I agree getting keys is kind of a pain but with the good loot that comes out of PoE it's a good thing

How does it keep you from hitting end game? You don't need treasure keys to hit level 34. You can easily hit level 33 just by completing level 32 PoE. Once you hit level 33, do level 34 PoE and then you are guaranteed an Etheric drop. That will get you 33.5 until next week when the reset happens. If you don't want to grind the keys, then don't.

It only makes the end game content useless if you aren't good enough to complete the challenge modes. So is that your deal? Can't beat the challenge modes?

I can understand this complaint. It's why I stopped grinding public events months ago. Thing is, how do you fix it? There's a million players hunting these enemies and players wanted more interesting patrols. So they're stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Just do it casually, go do patrols to upgrade weapons, armor etc and treat them the same as public events. That's what I do, stops you feeling like you're wasting time.

You're right. I remember polygon getting through bungies thick skulls about end game material farming from chests.. What the hell. This Is is exactly the same thing. You should be able to buy keys for the price of 5 strange coins or so. If we are to do this without chest exploits. That'd about 5 chests every hour.... Ummm no thanks.

Watch YouTube or listen to music or a podcast while you wait. The possibilities of thing to do in those ten minutes are endless.
