House of Wolves has brought back the worst aspect of Destiny.
Grinding is one thing, standing around for 10 minutes waiting for "wolves" ships to spawn is not grinding, it's a complete and utter waste of time. It makes me not want to play the game knowing that if I want to keep up with everyone, I am forced to stand around for 10 minute increments hours on end just to have a slim chance at getting a key so the end game is not a complete waste of time. What a nightmare.
Edit: Keep the "no one forces you to play Destiny" comments coming. I am building quite a list of muted basement trolls.
Edit 2: Bungie fixed it with today's update. To all the negative posters, shove it!

1 RispondiTreasure keys are not necessary to have unless you have the cipher bounty, so why are you grinding so hard, and why would you fall behind if you didn't have them?

9 RisposteDude, the big Ether chests in PoE only drop shitty stuff. You definitely don't need keys to keep up. The real reward is in the armor, etherlic light and weapon cores. You do not need to grind. Grinding is literally a choice here.

You don't need the keys except for the exotic bounties and the 35 chest. You only get Queens weapons every other time. Don't worry about the keys :)

Why would you farm from wolves if you dont enjoy it when theres other activities that drop keys?

Well the key doesn't matter imo...like at all. The armor and weapon cores do. The etheric light does. Key gives you queens weapon (which is crap) motes, coins, and if on level 35 PoE, an emblem, shader, ship, and an ele primary that has a very slim chance to have 1 perk you want (the other perk wasted on a fallen specific perk) Keys are useless, you do have that slim chance for ghorn but it's not worth standing around for. You can't get the new weapons from that chest. The armor you can but same case as ghorn it's a very slim chance and not worth waiting for a key. Unless you get a key from doing a wolves while doing bounties or from the small chests in any PoE run, there is no reason on freaking out from not being able to open it.

I agree on the waiting part and how they will not expand the vault or give us more inventory space, or raise the cap limit per special ammo syn. Batch..

While for short periods, the wolf pack grinding can be enjoyable, what's not enjoyable is spending 3 hours today to yield 1 key and an ever-skrinking inventory thanks to special ammo. A likely situation would be to have 3-6 keys to open each character on 34 and 35. So 6x3 is 18 hours. That's just for the keys. Then 34 on each character plus 35 on each. 34 x 3 for 1.5 hours each, 4.5 (lets say 5). And 3 hours at most for each 35 x 3 = 9. So 18+4.5+9=31.5 hours a week. Just for PoE . Not to mention if I want to do ToO or another raid. So add 1 hour of one raid and 2 hours of failing ToO. 34.5 hours a week. Divide by 7 and I almost have to play 5 hours per day just to complete new game content. Thank you destiny for making it stupid hard to get keys and waste my time.

I actually kinda enjoy the wolves events. It's chaos and supers and explosions everywhere. Then everyone scrambling so we can grab the loot. I just go to different planets to mix it up

5 RisposteForget that id rather run poe lvl28 you get two chests at the end of that, that might drop keys and its pretty easy to beat at lvl 28 and faster imo

1 RispondiThe drop rate of Treasure Keys is not even worth trying to grind for them. If you absolutely have to, do something else while you're waiting. During the first week of Wolves events I brought up Netflix on my laptop and watched some shows while I waited for the events to happen. I would say "no one forces you to play", but that sounds like it applies to the entire game. "No one forces you to grind" would be a better comment. Also makes you sound very immature for muting everyone who disagrees with you. The Confirmation Biased is strong on this forum.
