So bungie, I know you probably have some bullshit reason for why your releasing it so late but hear me out, I once lived in America but no longer, and of course all your time pander to the Americans. But people in Australia and asian countries have to wait until 1 A.M. On May 20th to play. What the hell? When I woke up today i practically exploded out of bed in anticipation for it, but Nope, Im not in America so I'm getting fuçked
EDIT 1- Alright, now that jimmies have been rustled I wanted to say this was a point I forgot to make, HoW should drop at the time of weekly reset, that's fair

I agree
-
Yeah because bungie should be forced to be at work to launch house of wolves at 12am and then stay there for the next couple of hours to ensure it runs smoothly. Get off your high horse you entitled asshat.
-
American company dick face. Why would they not cater us?
-
I wonder why an AMERICA BASED COMPANY would release dlc at a good time in AMERICA.... Smh
-
Modificato da Legoburn: 5/19/2015 4:59:28 PMThat's how time zones work. Someone had to get screwed over, and you can't fault Bungie for picking a time that would best allow their employees to be up and monitoring everything when HoW goes live.
-
Bump for using Jimmies
-
It's really simple, when the majority of people that use your product, are in one geographical area you cater to them. I live on the west coast of the US, and the East coast local news channels do there reports in the afternoon for me, why? Because they are catering to their local clientele. Bungie is no different. Right. Wrong. Indifferent That's the way it is.
-
Sounds like someone is in dire need of a hobby other than video games. If you're that perturbed about when a video game releases, perhaps you might want to take a step back and re-evaluate some things.
-
American company - check Dropped during the middle of the day from west coast to east coast - check Whinybabybitchboy regretting he moved back to icelandistanarabia - check

2 RisposteOur reset time has been 2am for everything else every week... get over it
-
5 RisposteYour one of them retards huh?
-
Bungie can't make everyone happy.
-
They release on a time that matches their clock, no matter what time they release it someone would end up getting screwed so why not just do it to their own time
-
You think it's because they are located here and have to be in office in case disaster happens and it crashes? Yes. It is. They said that.
-
Modificato da buddcl0t: 5/19/2015 4:54:30 PMNo matter what time its released someone , somewhere would get it at a crappy time. You do realize this right? It has nothing to do with some evil plan by bungie to screw you over. Just relax, no matter how hard you try the real hardcore of hardcore players will always beat content first and get things before you by marathon playing in groups. In the end, who the hell cares?
-
Everyone gets it at EXACTLY the same tine. Of course, time zones differ.
-
Here's the thing the guys at bungie are pretty smart they probably run these at the times that the least amount of players are on. That would be my best guess on what time they decided to drop these updates.
-
Wow stfu every other DLC drops in the middle of the night in the US
-
1 RispondiSo 2am PST and 5am EST is more fair when the company is based in America? God why does this forum have so many crack babies.
-
2 Risposte+100 wallaby tears collected
-
5 RisposteIt's a game based in the U.S. so naturally it will be on U.S. timelines. I get that it's annoying to those in foreign countries, but that's just how it goes. If I was playing a game based in Japan and it catered to their time zones I may be frustrated but at the end of the day I would understand it.
-
Yes an american based company should definitely "pander" to every other country in the world and make their employees come into work at O dark stupid to make sure that the patch hits the servers correctly. I understand that in a global economy a company has to take care of ALL of their customers but why should any one group be more important than the other?
-
Sigh. I didn't see complaints from western players when eve online went through expansions, and their hourly downtime. Really.
-
lol. it was never going to be at the weekly reset that is automated, a dlc release is not automated in its release they need to make sure to have employees there in case there are problems. and no they were not going to have employees working all night just to make players like you happy about release time.
-
I agree and disagree. I think they could pick a better time but they work 8am - 6pm Pacific time so that means it will be during those hours. Its only reasonable to launch during work hours.
-
Get the -blam!- over it.
