I'm a level 31 hunter with more than enough exotic and legendary weapons to take out any enemy. That is until HoW Bounties dropped. I have given up on the first bounty already as it is physically impossible to complete without a fireteam which I do not have.
The game has now passed me out due to the fact I have no buddies online. I feel a huge sense of alienation. While players with big groups of friends will progress through HoW, I'm left with nothing more to do than grind through repetitive strikes and weeklies to pass the time.
I feel like I'm back in school again :(

No. I rarely have ppl I know personally online but over the course of using the various lfg options I've found some really cool ppl to play with. You just have to put yourself out there
-
Go to the100.io You can thank me later
-
-
They are easy to solo
-
Hi ! That is the magic word to meet people in a online game. The players are there, next step is yours. :)
-
Do what I did starting out, when running a strike list, if you get matched with the same players two or three times in a row and you have fun fighting alongside them, shoot them a friend request... Likelihood is they had fun too and will accept.
-
2 RisposteYou can do the bounties solo. I'm 35 with the reflexes of a retarded giraffe and can do it. Lol
-
2 RisposteRecruitment raid on this app and meat people. Friend those people and go from there. Destiny is a social game created to be multiplayer for the most part. Good luck. Oh, and quit feeling sorry for yourself that won't get you to beat the game;)
-
Destiny is not a single player game.
-
You can't kill the Baroness? Lol, even if you had friends I doubt they would invite you.
-
My prescription: Git gud Jk, but seriously, I can solo all of them. Sure it's frustrating at times but you gotta be quick, have good guns, and stay alive
-
OP makes post about no friends. But yet he's a member of a Clan with over 200 people. TROLL
-
yes its stupid no one should need to go get friends to be able to play a game. the disk you bought, you and a connection should be all that is needed.
-
4 RisposteI understand a lot of you saying Destiny wasn't meant to be a single player experience, but don't you think it's a bit absurd we have to use 3rd party sites/apps to meet and connect with other players?
-
Quit crying. My fireteam buddy is my five year old son and we beat the PoE on 32 so if your so good you should be just fine by yourself or try actually making new friends
-
The Queen Bounties are impossible to finish alone (the ones to hunt the Wolves)? Or are you talking about something else?
-
What bounty? I did all the story stuff...using Fang of Ir Yut/Murmur/Gjalarhorn with a slight mix of Black Hammer. Did I miss something??
-
I don't have any friends that play Destiny, yet I managed to solo it all so far (bar Raids). You say you have plenty of weapons, so use Arc weapons and Arc Subclasses to get the first Bounty done. It's a challenge (thankfully, I wanted a challenge), but it's not impossible.

Modificato da DaoFerret: 5/20/2015 5:41:56 PM
Is destiny alienating it's single player base?
I don't know about the single player base, but as a Married Guardian I'm in deep trouble with the new time sink and keep getting Error Code: Wife. From what I hear I'm not the only one in my clan. :D Jokes aside, go find a clan. If its big enough, then there are always people who are on-line and happy to help (or looking for help themselves). It becomes a self contained LFG community that you get to know.
-
One does not simply single player
-
Dude its not hard at all just take it step by step How do you think ppl solo nightfalls because they are careful not careless
-
I usually solo it.
-
It's actually not too hard to solo the bounties, you just need to use the right weapons (aka arc shotgun, gjallarhorn). As for PoE and raids, lfg is a thing for a reason.
-
You aren't alone. Yes there are clans and groups out there you can join but I found my team in a clan a bit of a mixed blessing. I found that because I didn't know the raids I held people back and I got the sense (I might have been wrong) that they would rather have done it without having to assist me ( I won't say carry because I think I did okay) so now I just have to struggle through (and I'm a worse than average player ) so it's not much fun.
-
It's not that different from real life. Try being helpful and nice to people and you might actually find some people willing to spend time with you.
-
4 RisposteIt's not a single player game so -blam!- off
