so, recently, some data mining has shown us that the perks for exotic armors have changed. Heres a quick overview
hunters:
Celestial nighthawk: One golden gun shot, does 6x damage and has keyhole active
ihkimera hooks: Crouching makes you go invisible, and a melee from behind does 4x damage
bones of eos: Gives extra double jump
Warlocks:
The Ram: Gives void-walkers extra armor, and any energy drain melee comes with life steal
Purifier robes: Activating radiance from death blinds enemies
Purifier manacles: Scatter grenades have better tracking, get extra scatter grenade charge
titans:
Eternal Warrior: Provides unstoppable
ACD/0 feedback fence: talking melee damage causes damage to be spread around you
Preiginre greaves: Shoulder charge does extra damage in air
For those who dont know, ever class EXCEPT TITANS had exotic perks change, and many of them are VERY good. Void walkers will get extra armor/more grenades that are more powerful. Sunsingers get a stun grenade if using fireborn( As if thats not already used more then any other super), hunters get more height in a jump, a much greater ranged FoH/NB, and extra invisible damage, while making you invisible. Titans? We get 2 armor pieces that give us a pretty useless perk, shoulder charge is already a ohko in pvp, and not worth the risk in pve, and unstoppable isnt all that useful either. The feedback fence might be good with a strikers dischange melee ability, but other then that, what do we really have?
Your ideas?

We won't know until we actually try them. Honestly, unless I'm on patrol or the nightfall burn is arc, I rarely use my striker in pve. But if the greaves let me ohk a knight now, that'll be awesome fun! Plus, I'm tired of going into crucible as a Titan (described for their melee), and being beat in hand-to-hand by hunters and warlocks. I bet the new gloves will make people second guess trying to punch a Titan!

5 RisposteTo be honest, titans have been favoured pretty much the whole time. Hunters have always had meh at best exotics, with the only really good ones being the Symbiote and maybe the Third Man. I mean, the radiant dance machines are simply a waste of an exotic. They are worse than a lot, if not all rare (blue) hunter boots. On the other hand, Titans have consistently had top tier exotics: Armamentarium, Saint-14, Ruin Wings etc. It's about time Hunters/Warlocks got something good.
-
I don't really think that titans got jipped lol. When destiny first released, the class with the least interesting exotics was hunter. I'd argue it still is, as the top two only increase your super slightly and the rest of the good ones are very situational (alpha lupi and don't touch me). What these updates will do is give hunters interesting perks.

Modificato da ok and 2: 5/17/2015 11:29:39 AMEvery DLC will (hopefully not) have a class who gets jipped. Beginning: none (no dlc) Tdb: hunter How: Titan Comet: warlock(?) (I hope not, that would stink)
-
What do you mean by jipped
-
I was a warlock before I switched to ps4, and these make me want to level up a warlock again...

Modificato da dbeidbeijfjjjj: 5/17/2015 11:36:46 AMThey need to either buff the -blam!- outta Hunter/Titan exotics or nerf the hell out of Warlock exotics. Warlocks already have the most ridiculous exotic armor, and now they're gomna get three more epic pieces while the Titans get none and Hunters only get one? Hell no. Hunters currently have the worst armor for exotics, Titans' and Warlocks' gear kind of close with the Warlock being slightly better. But if this drops like-so, Titans will be at the bottom of the chain. Let's recap on the current "good," or at least used/relevant exotics for each class. Hunter: -Aclyophage. -Mask of the Third Man. -Alpha Lupi. -Lucky raspberry. Titan: -Saint-14. -Glasshouse. -Skullfort. -Ruin Wings. -Alpha Lupi. -Armamentarium. Warlock: -Light Beyond Nemesis. -Fishbowl HP regen on super helm. -Obsidian Mind. -Claws of Ahamkara. -Heart of Praxic Fire. -Voidfang vestments. I'm not going by my opinion on these exotics, I'm going by what you see the class that owns them use. Hunters Have two crappy gloves, two crappy helmets, and a pretty useless pair of boots. Titans have a bad helmet, bad gloves, and bad pair of boots. Warlocks have only a bad helm and gloves.

6 RisposteModificato da Veziina: 5/17/2015 12:41:04 PMI honestly think these perks are false due to the fact that one of them was "one shot on golden gun does 6x damage".... What's the point of that if it's already a one hit kill. "Shoulder charge does more damage" What's the point if it's already a one hit kill. Edit: Obviously it has its PVE side to the perk but it's a waste of an exotic in my opinion if it's only useful half the time, you could argue ruin wings for the titan is essentially the same thing but with the amount of heavy you get in PVE it's totally worth it. No way I'd ever use the exotic for the titan which apparently gives you added shoulder charge damage when in air such a waste of an exotic.. I could find a better legendary piece of Armor to equip suitable for both PVE and PVP.
-
so hunters have an exotic that makes their melee compete with others...seems fair
-
It's the nothing menacles
-
Warlocks got three extrem powerful PvP exotics, Hunters got some okay PvE stuff and Titans get meh stuff. The only thing I'm looking for is the Eternal Warrior helmet. Unstoppable combined with shoulder charge is pretty cool for PvP. However, it would be cool to see better exotics for Striker Titans. For example: A helmet that glare all nearby enemies after activating FoH. I got killed so many times by people after I activated FoH because it takes two seconds before I can shoot again. Titans are the weakest class in PvP and we don't get any love. :*(

18 RisposteModificato da ImmortalIce: 5/17/2015 4:42:22 AMBungie hates Titans. The spend all their effort on warlocks then come up with some half assed stuff for titans.
-
1 RispondiModificato da Noshotskill: 5/17/2015 10:25:03 AMSeems like every class is getting the same amount of new exotics, so I don't see how any class got jipped. The reality is 3 months from now everyone will still use the top tier exotics for their subclass and most of the exotics will be seen as situational at best.
-
Just a little jip.
-
2 RisposteWarlocks have been jipped all along glad they see some love this DLC
-
It'll depend on how much damage feedback fence does. If it's enough to decimate a group of thralls near me then I'm happy with it. If it's weak and doesn't really result in at least some thing dying, then yes, titans got the short end of the stick for HoW exotic.
-
2 RisposteHunters desperately needed some love. About time they got some powerful perks.
-
This time, yes; but Titans already have some of the best exotics in the game, so I'm not too upset.
-
3 RisposteTo be honest I don't care for the new exotics I'll just stick with the glasshouse which is amazing for defender and I'm leveling up my ruin wings so I'm happy with those two For the hunter I'll be grabbing those boots though
-
2 RisposteYeah, cause Radiant Dance machines was an Amazing exotic -_-
-
1 RispondiYou guys got shafted this time around but Voidwalkers have been getting the bone since day one. 'Bout time we got some love.
The only good Voidwalker piece was Obsidian Mind.
-
Bungie might have realized titans are op anyway and need no boosts.
-
From a warlock i do reckon that titans got shafted this dlc exotic armour wise. In my opinion the best exoric armour piece are the gauntlets, and theyre pretty much a re hash of the dont touch me's for hunters
-
I'm actually happy, I think we are in a good place with useful exotics already, better than the other two at least, so we could have got no exotics and I would have been fine, not like I have room for new exotics anyway ; ;
-
The feedback fence looks good
-
It doesn't matter since we have helm of saint-14.
