Is destiny slowly becoming the game we all want it to be?
Every patch makes the game better and better.

I wish people would quit moaning. 20+ years ago games like street fighter ll turbo cost £60. Games like that as a kid were Xmas and bday only games. So we've paid 80 for destiny and 2 expansions over 8 months. Games are cheap compared to years gone by and offer more. Destiny is a 16+ game in the UK, if you can't rustle up a bit of cash for a dlc then you're probably a kid or jobless. If you're jobless then it's a luxury you can't afford. Saving a couple of quid here and there for the time dlc drops can't be that hard can it? For the time it gives back to you in hours played it's cheaper than 99% of forms of entertainment out there. So yes, destiny is becoming the game we all wanted. If u don't wanna pay for it then don't. Enjoy your vanilla!

Destiny is a newer concept. Its hard tp start off. Building a completely online game means you have to drop a lot. Most are hooked on single player games/missions, such as Cod/Battlefield/uncharted. You cant have those single player levels on an online game. Sadly last gen is alsp holding it down. Destiny is getting better, they are learning. If we keep talking they will listen. PoE was a huge success i think. It requorea fighting to grind and then you have to complete the prison. Its all well put together.

I think so many of my friends that didn't play are now trying out the game or coming back to it

they are starting to address a lot of key things that drove the player base away, but still have an issue with how fast the content can be blown though. that's partially our fault, but it doesn't seem to be a game that can have anything else other than repetitive grinding. I love the game, I just don't know how well it will hold up

I'm pretty sure the prison is replay able as much as you want so yes, it is. Prison has such a fun gameplay, something a raid could never replicate.

9 RisposteSo far I'm very happy with how the dlc turned out. The prison is awesome! It's a bit of a challenge and makes people come up with strategies and make split second decisions or else you wipe. I have yet to give the lvl 35 one a go due to school and work but so far I think the strike is awesome, the prison is awesome, the new campaign was awesome, and I have a feeling trials is going to be awesome as well. To me this is a huge success for bungie. There is so much content to do right now, we have vault of glass, Croatas end, nightfalls, weeklies, prison and trials!! That's a lot of content to do each week lol. All the people complaining have unreal expectations and need to stop bitching and just play the damn game!! It's only been out for a day and people are already saying it sucks, waste of money, ect... Fighting the boss on the lvl 34 Poe was so cool, running in there and then all dying because the ground was on fire just thinking how the hell is this possible if you can't touch the ground? I think bungie did an amazing idea and people need to just play the game and enjoy it. People will never be satisfied and they are just thinking about every negative and what destiny could be and what they wish bungie did and what they think bungie messed up on... Who the -blam!- cares, it is what it is and I'm planning on playing the -blam!- out of this new dlc!!!!

Yes, add free content and it will be. This should have been the day one model. It shouldn't be a trickle down good content system, but I'll live.
