Instead of sticking all us with randoms who either suck, are afk, and/or have no mics, why don't you go to the tower and send invites and a message as to what you plan on doing. There's also lfg dot com! Go make friends. I promise you, there's at least 2 others out there who will like you.
I do not want match making, if you could not tell from my OP, seriously, do you boys ever read!? Also, I'm not opposed to Optional Matchmaking, HOWEVER, I seriously doubt they will ever put that in the game. It took them 8 months to give us more vault space, to add volume settings, and they still wont fix raids or glitches that happen (like Nightfall glitching)... You can voice your opinion about asking for OM, but it will never happen, it will be all of nothing, Matchmaking or no matchmaking at all...
Shit man, I remember when I first started raiding, I had to spam everyone in the tower to get some help. I didn't know lfg sites existed. I built up a reasonable amount of raid-mates this way. I've noticed that a decent number of lfg users are just there for the grind. Get in - Get out, then they are done. It's the people from the tower that are like "-blam!- it, I'll give this guy a hand". These are the people you want to keep.

Welcome to 2015 where everything multiplayer is matchmade. Did you know that when you are out on patrol that you're matchmade? When you're in the tower you are also matchmade. So if I'm to go to the tower and send messages to people essentially I am messaging players I'm already matchmade with. Why do you think it's acceptable to extend the matchmade process by adding more steps? Even adding analog step to slow it down even worse. If you're having issues with afk players I have a suggestion to keep you occupied... Learn to swi.... Report -> inactive. Optional matchmaking is best for every player.

2 RisposteModificato da dead mans: 5/12/2015 1:16:18 AMIts alot harder for guys to convince randoms to raid. Optional matchmaking has no impact on everyone who wants to do it the hard way
dont be such a debbie downer you negative nancy
8 RisposteI think the lack of optional matchmaking throughout the game is Bungie's most baffling decision. Are you against optional matchmaking? If so, please explain.
-
Lfg is matchmaking just outside the game. They need to make it optional so ppl that will 2 man/solo still can. Unlike what they did to the weekly, forced unless you make a full team.
-
No match matching!!!
-
Optional matchmaking wouldn't stop you from spamming or using LFG sites.
-
Needs to be optional. It's not terrible running weekly's with randoms that have a general idea of how to play but boy do you ever cuss up a storm when you get paired with a DAMF. Not to mention I enjoyed running the weekly solo or with just one other person. If they force MM on us in raids/nightfalls there will be serious backlash and people leaving Destiny for good.

1 RispondiWhen you send invites at the tower, or find people on the forums etc. you still end up playing with random people you don't know. I've done a lot of raids with random people from the tower and elsewhere, and sometimes still end up with idiots...

2 RisposteI Wan't all y'all to stop making posts saying people are lazy and (all y'all) to start making posts about how bungie is lazy as they've had 8 months (oh and years and 500 million dollars before that) and instead of optional matchmaking being on all end game activities, forced matchmaking is only on the weekly. But hey, at least we got Audio controls 6 months in? I mean surely, No game has ever done that before.... Also, fug all y'all If I didn't say it one more time I wouldn't be able to live with myself

Optional is something I'm fine with, means I don't have to use it. The reason a lot of us don't want matchmaking is because budgie will not make it optional, and we will be forced into it.

It's funny how so many people get tied up in a knot about the idea of optional matchmaking. After all, you do realize that you can keep playing without matchmaking, right? You have that option. If people want the option of being put with randoms, what's the harm in allowing that? How does it negatively affect those players who find groups via third party services or their clans? In short, it doesn't. Not one bit. You just keep on doing what you're doing playing on the non-matchmaking option, and no randoms will drop in on your 3 man fireteam doing Vault, or your solo run of Crota.

6 RisposteStfu bitch you probably ain't that good I've really enjoyed matchmaking and I can show off by letting players watch me one man shit because unlike an asshole complainer like you, I am good.

21 RisposteGive us the choice to do both I hate wasting time finding people enough said it's simple

Just make it optional

1 RispondiSo basically, optional matchmaking it is then. Bungie?

Make it optional problem solved.

1 RispondiModificato da AYRES: 5/11/2015 10:48:38 PMOr just give everything OPTIONAL matchmaking.-Forbes article

It's easy to put an optional matchmaking system in place, but BUNGIE is to lazy or stupid to allow that. Also, the reason they do not have it,(in my mind anyway) is to slow player progress down because of the lack of content. I know it, BUNGIE knows it, and we should all stop supporting behavior like this in the future, if not I'll just stop gaming all together, destiny is the biggest failure yet.

People need to invite with a message. I personally don't respond if there isn't one unless I'm friends or have played with them already
-
2 Risposteoptional
-
Yes because everyone loves being bombarded with invites in the tower while dropping off bounties. Or on the other side spending hours spamming people in hopes 5 actually respond much less respond with a 'yes'. Match making should be nearly everywhere. It should also be optional.
