Which planet is the hottest? (To be on)

And if im correct the surface of mercury that is facing the sun gets to be the hottest the surface of a planet in our solar system gets, and below freezing on the "dark side" of mercury. In the game i would say it is still mercury because venus has a climate that can grow vegetation, comparable to a green house. Im not to educated on astronomy though

I realized that in the world of Destiny, Mercury is hotter because Venus was changed by the traveler. Venus has vegetation growing, Mercury does not.
