The obvious answer is Venus. It averages a steamy 900°. Mercury a chilly 800° Look it up. If that information has changed, send me a link. [spoiler] I'm not expecting to be proven wrong.[/spoiler]

2 RisposteMercury is so close to the sun its atmosphere has been "burnt" away venus however has a very thin atmosphere which traps the heat (like earths greenhouse effect) and super heats the planet making it the hottest.

1 RispondiThe surface of Venus is hotter because Mercury has very thin atmosphere to trap the heat. Venus has a very thick one which traps all of the heat, making it hotter...I think :)

Venus is the hottest solar planet. Kepler-70b was considered to be the hottest extrasolar planet the last time that I checked.

Even in game Mercury isn't as hot. Mercury has an ancient Vex barrier around it which dims out the Sun's heat and brightness.
