What's the first game you put some serious time into?
Way back in the day the first game I spent hours playing was Ultima Online.
I put in some serious man hours into that one.

Final Fantasy 2 (SNES), I think I was up in the 50 hours range, which was a lot for its day.

Pokemon Emerald, then Halo 3

Pokemon yellow and silver. Age of Empires 2 and Battlefield 2. Also got a lot of days/hours on CoD4/MW2/MW3/BO2 and Battlefield 4

Black Ops 2. 10.5 days lol and in next place was Destiny before I quit at 160 hours. Dragon Age Inquisition is 3rd at 52 hours and DS2 at 34 and counting

Probably Elder Scrolls There is so much to do you have to dedicate time to do even half of what you can do. I still have so, so much more stuff to do in Oblivion and Skyrim, I go speak to an NPC in a place I am not often in and wala, new quest I never heard about.

Final Fantasy on NES. I played that so much back in the days of my youth. The only other game(s) that compare to it in recent memory is oblivion and skyrim. If the save game timer in oblivion is to be trusted I sunk something like 2500 hundred hours across multiple play throughs and never seen the ending or became the leader of the mages guild. They kept kicking me out. How am I supposed to know some dick head out in the middle of nowhere is a member. It shouldn't count. I still remember being awe struck at seeing it the first time. I jumped from playing a PS1 to the 360 and running through the fields by the coast and seeing the tall grass or was it wheat that moved like the wind was blowing and the time change and the weather. Looking up at the moon and stars at night. It was just awesomesauce and love at first sight.

Pokémon leaf green put like 250 hours into it. But that's nothing compared to borderlands 1 + 2. Combined I probably have close to a whole month played.
