So HoW drops and you have 1200 marks...
What are you going to buy from the vendors day one? Assuming you have 3 characters with maxed marks by that point (which you may not, and that's totally fine).

Thus far I've decided to definitely get:
Red Hand IX hand cannon from NM
Deadshot Luna SR1 from DO
Pest Control Matrix auto rifle from Vanguard.
Edit: the fulcrum hand cannon from fwc
Well? Based on stats and default perks, what is everyone going to jump on day one?
Edit: A shocking number of people don't seem to realize that the vendor (vanguard, crucible, and faction) armor will not take you beyond level 32 without bring ascended. It will all have a light level of 36, same as crota gear. If it looks cool or has good perks or you don't have a full set of crota or IB gear, by all means buy some. I plan to.
But I worry that a lot of people are going to buy a set and then be very disappointed when they cap out at 32.

I have 36 Commendations, so I'll use that to get my Dead Orbit Rep to level 30. Hopefully I'll get a weapon or two from the packages, then I'll: •spend 150 marks on the Vanguard Scout Rifle on my Warlock. •spend 150 marks on the Vanguard Auto Rifle on my Hunter. •spend 150 marks on the Vanguard Sniper Rifle on my Titan.

Not sure until I rank my 15 vendor and open their packages ..... Much depends on the armour. But I like scouts & arc tracking RL looks good.

6 RisposteFirst off, notice those wpns show 331 dmg. I thought new HoW weapons would be able to get to 365 without EL. I will have 19 packages coming when I lvl everything when HoW hits (+ 3 cryptarch packages). Hoping for that Judgement shotgun. Looks like FL stats, just need to be rerolled. Also, those snipers look like the have the rate of fire of Praedyth's Revenge but with higher impact. So hoping for one of those and roll unflinching and perfect balance and that perk which decreases severity of recoil. The pulse rifles with full auto will be good for PVP. The scouts would be ok for PVE, but VoC, Fang, Fatebringer, WoC are too good with elemental dmg.
