So HoW drops and you have 1200 marks...
What are you going to buy from the vendors day one? Assuming you have 3 characters with maxed marks by that point (which you may not, and that's totally fine).

Thus far I've decided to definitely get:
Red Hand IX hand cannon from NM
Deadshot Luna SR1 from DO
Pest Control Matrix auto rifle from Vanguard.
Edit: the fulcrum hand cannon from fwc
Well? Based on stats and default perks, what is everyone going to jump on day one?
Edit: A shocking number of people don't seem to realize that the vendor (vanguard, crucible, and faction) armor will not take you beyond level 32 without bring ascended. It will all have a light level of 36, same as crota gear. If it looks cool or has good perks or you don't have a full set of crota or IB gear, by all means buy some. I plan to.
But I worry that a lot of people are going to buy a set and then be very disappointed when they cap out at 32.

4 RisposteHer MErcy and Her Benevolence seem pretty decent, although, only time will tell, i am currently leveling up some factions/vanguard/crucible so i might as well stick with whatever i get from the packages (...IF i get something useful at all that is))))) ....first of all i will probably focus on the Armor tho, getting to that sweet lvl34 asap will be my No.1 target for the DLC week

First I'll see what I get from rank ups Then I'll likely be getting that DeadOrbit Luna scout rifle, the vanguard sniper rifle that has shoot to loot, and an arc rocket launcher with tracking

Going to buy all amour so I can be 32 without wearing crota gear. Then work on getting everything to 34. New weapons I've seen don't blow me away so will be slowly upgrading old weapons starting with zombie apocalypse.

5 RisposteI'm going to buy armor level it up hit level 33 then go do prison of elders on level 32 it's honestly the best decision you can possibly make buy two to three pieces of armor. Ascend a exotic piece of armor and I will be there buying a weapon is a stupid decision to make at release buy a weapon later

1 RispondiArmor first. I have plenty of good raid and exotic weapons that will still be better then the Vanguard/Crucible/Faction weapons on offer. Trading in packs I expect I'll get a couple and if they are decent those will be the weapons I use briefly and initially.

2 RisposteIm interested in what perks will be in the reforge table. Because it looks like some of the new perks might be replacing old ones. Looking at some of the new perks they increase one stat but decrease another.

I might as well upgrade the gear I already have.

2 RisposteI'm not sure why people are going crazy over some of these weapons based on their stock perks. You can reforge any of them now so it makes no difference the way they start other than choosing the base stats of the archetype within that weapon class that you enjoy. Maybe people just don't get this concept yet?

I will buy the new armor cause it looks sick as hell for the titan & hunter. Upgrading gear is top priority.

11 RisposteHow is no one flipping out about the friggin Dead Orbit scout rifle?!?! It's got full auto!!!!!! That means any scout can get full auto in HoW, meaning VoC isn't as special anymore... VoC is still beast though.

If I manage to get everything ready in time I should be opening 6 or 7 packages in the first week so what I buy will depend on what I get from the packages, but I will be working on gear over and above weapons at first. Having said that though I do like the look of the DO scout and the NM sniper rifle.
