So HoW drops and you have 1200 marks...
What are you going to buy from the vendors day one? Assuming you have 3 characters with maxed marks by that point (which you may not, and that's totally fine).

Thus far I've decided to definitely get:
Red Hand IX hand cannon from NM
Deadshot Luna SR1 from DO
Pest Control Matrix auto rifle from Vanguard.
Edit: the fulcrum hand cannon from fwc
Well? Based on stats and default perks, what is everyone going to jump on day one?
Edit: A shocking number of people don't seem to realize that the vendor (vanguard, crucible, and faction) armor will not take you beyond level 32 without bring ascended. It will all have a light level of 36, same as crota gear. If it looks cool or has good perks or you don't have a full set of crota or IB gear, by all means buy some. I plan to.
But I worry that a lot of people are going to buy a set and then be very disappointed when they cap out at 32.

1 RispondiHeres what most people are going to do. They will go straight to the tower, buy weapons/armour and upgrade exotics, visit the reef, proceed to do PoE, only to find out you need to do the story missions first. They then proceed to do the story missions, go to attempt PoE, then explore the rest of the reef, followed by doing the weekly and nightfall. Well, thats what im going to do. Also, its worth noting that all exotic gear doesn't require etheric light to ascend it. You could possibly be lvl 33 straight away if that's the case. It would probably take 2 pieces of ascended armour in order to get lvl 33 though.

2 RispostePlease get your information right. When you buy vendor gear it's level 32(light 36), you CAN ascend it to level 34 (light 42), using etheric light.

I most probably wont buy any guns, I will ascend my raid primaries (have all 3 burn types on all 3 toons) first. And maybe buy some armour, but that all depends on its perks and most importantly how it looks on my toons. Will keep raid boots for heavy ammo but gauntlets and chest peices I might buy if they look better. Helmets I usually run exotics so won't need to buy a helmet. I have all my factions ready to lvl up so i'll see what drops in the packages before I commit to anything
