The reef isnt open to all guardians only the ones willing to pay 20$

You can actually access it without the DLC... You just won't be able to do much.

I am 17 and jobbin in a supermarket, even i only work 35 hours a month i still have 300€ to spend, 20€ isnt anything for content which holds you on fire for months

4 Rispostedont worry you can still enter the reef like a tourist and marvel at all that dlc goodness. Then go back to the tower and pick up some bounties or something while everyone else wrecks in the PoE.

The reef social space is accessible if you don't get the dlc. Bungie has already said this. Reason being. Xur will also appear in the reef social space instead of the tower

2 RisposteNo, you get the reef. But you only get it to be reminded of the fact that you could have had all of that content with the small purchase of $20. It's just advertising for HoW to those who don't wanna buy it.

Nah, you can visit the Reef without the DLC. But you won't be able to do ANYTHING there aside from the normal Tower stuff, and Trials of Osiris-related things.
