I made this rankings based on my time playing destiny. I am almost 100% sure that this rankings are accurate. I have plenty of time played with each subclass and have explored their pros and cons to the max. This is a completely unbiassed opinion that i put much thought into it. If you disagree with the order the subclasses are ranked in, i am certain that you have not played enough with each subclass to voice your opinion. Please take into consideration the full capability of each subclass before disagreeing.
Most people are disagreeing with Sunsinger being top in pvp. This is because it takes someone who knows how to use this subclass in order to do well. The way i see it is, an average Hunter will outperform an average Sunsinger. But a good Sunsinger will outperform a good Hunter. Sunsinger is the most underrated subclass in pvp. First i will give you the correct set up for a proper Sunsinger. Firebolt grenade, focussed burst, radiant skin, flame shield, viking funeral, touch of flame, high armor and recovery with a high discipline\strength built. Run this set up with voidfang vestments, which will grant you a grenade upon respawning. Now you cant simply change your set up to this and expect to do well right away, it takes time. The firebolt grenade will remove up to 90% of a players health, this means you can hit him with one bullet from a handcannon, scout rifle, high impact auto rifles, snipers, almost anything and he will die. Not only does it do a lot of damage, but the burn of the grenade will keep the target weak and show his position on the map for 10 seconds. The flame shield not only burns a target, it grants you an overshield upon simply hitting a target(imo the most op ability in pvp). With high strength, flame shield should be up for all close quarters encounters, which should be won(unless the other player is more skilled). So far i have shown you how a Sunsinger can be ridiculously powerful from afar and a close distance. As for radiance, i think it is the most well rounded super for pvp. Most people think bladedancers have the best super because of their kill potential. Radiance have the same kill potential as any other super in the game, it also makes easy orbs. For radiance to be useful the user must be highly skilled, as for bladedancers or gunslingers the user could be average at best. This is the main reason as to why people think Sunsingers are inferior.
A Sunsinger can completely take over a part of the map and he does not have to be within that area to do so. As i stated before one firebolt grenade will remove 90% of a players health, being able to throw 10 of these makes it self explanatory. If the user feels the need to engage an area personally, he'll simply one melee an opponent(granting him an overshield, which is not op at all sarcasm). I could literally write a book about Sunsingers superiority, but i think this is enough for now.

1 RispondiSwitch Gunslinger and bladedancer for pve but otherwise sounds about right. Idk bout sunsinger in pvp but it's pretty good.

9 RisposteWhat's with all these people putting Defender so low for PvP? It's amazing in the crucible. Put a bubble down on a control point with Armor of Light and people will come to you to die. You can use the bubble to block up choke points. You can use the insane aim-assist on magnet grenades to get easy kills. The suppression grenade will stop a golden gun, blade dancer, or sunsinger in their tracks. The melee ability for a shield is useful, even more so when combined with the bubble. The bubble can be used in numbers to form the infamous bubble train. It can even be used more offensively if you've got an upgraded Helm of Saint-14. It's a great panic button if you're going for a streak or perfect game and can be used by your entire team. That's just for PvP. It's just as useful a subclass in PvE. I didn't even cover every last thing!

I'd say its pretty accurate, but I would switch sunsinger in PvE for Voidwalker
-
100% sure you said have a high int/disc stats then used high strength as an argument for using scorch.

100 percent sure. No linked account. Could have 100 hours total

9 RisposteI like gunslinger for pve cause the trip mine gernade can do some serious damage.

Just because the fact that you stressed the point this list isn't biased and opinionated (which it is 100%) devalues all the information provided

I don't think striker should be that low on the pvp. We have good nades and a pretty damn good super.
-
It's all situational. Bladedancer is good for crota and Nightfall while not preferred otherwise. Love voidwalker for everything. Defender is useful situationally just like sunsinger. Gunslinger is good crowd control with the right perks on and same with striker. Pve only cause idc about pvp

3 RisposteI understand the logic behind titan defender being one of the worst subclasses for PvP but for control it actually is pretty useful IMO
-
2 Risposte- 100% accurate - Unbiased
all from his own gameplay...
Lmfao sunsinger best in both? You should be shunned for that.
-
Modificato da Thebostoner: 5/9/2015 5:36:54 PMSunsinger is the top of both. I wonder what class and subclass you use
-
2 RisposteI don't care if you have 5 million hours on each subclass, you are way off. Sunsinger is not even close to 1st in either. PvP is definitely Gunslinger. I'd say PvE is either bladedancer or defender. Sunsinger just has self res, which is very situational. You're obvious biased towards warlocks
-
3 RisposteAll these people saying that bladedancer is a bad pve class are stupid seriously the invisibility perks are so helpful and make great swordbearers, and yes I realize other class can run sword too but 90 percent of the time randoms from lfg run bladedancer as sword
-
It is an opinion and to be honest, your opinion is completely skewed. That's all.
-
You're clearly biased for Sunsinger if you think it's the best for PVE and PVP.
-
Agree with most of this except for sunsinger #1 on pvp. Should be way lower
