As soon as I saw the Egyptian gear, I loved it. My next thought was, "Ok, so there's some time traveling going on. Basically any era or culture could be used as influence for designing Guardian gear." What other eras would you like to see?
I personally would like to see some Art Deco inspired gear. If you're unfamiliar with Art Deco style, just play the first two Bioshock games, or google it. Viking inspired gear would be cool too.
If any of you are talented enough to draw or otherwise design guardian gear, let's see it!
Edit1: So many good ideas in here. Would love to lace my huntress with some Samurai gear. My Titaness would look nice in some Viking bones and fur. And for the Warlockess, some Greek Mythology Athena or Nike type swag. Would be so cool.
Edit2: I'm seeing several eras and themes getting repeated, which is awesome. And for those few who are saying "I don't want old armor, this is a futuristic game." Come on guys, first of all, I'm saying era "inspired" gear, not a straight up mockery. Besides, who of you have been to the future to know what's futuristic and what isn't? History has shown several cultures influencing one another and trends that repeat, it's only natural.

Roman Greek idea are cool, I would be with that if they mirrored the depiction of the gods in armor sets. (like divine gear, Aries for Discipline focus and PvP, Athena for Intellect and so on). I'd furthermore also like to see Aztec gear!

I always thought Iron Banner stuff should have been medieval themed, with Titans as knights, Warlocks as wizards or wisemen and Hunters as rogues. It just seemed to fit the theme better, though honestly anything would be an improvement over the basic re-skins they have now.

Fun fact, Vikings didn't actually have horns on their helmets, a theatrical piece that was done a few centuries after their wrath depicted them with horns on their helmets for the stage. They have been paired with horn helmets ever since

1 RispondiI'd love a medieval looking set. So a Bucket helm knight suit for Titan, Priest looking robes for Warlock, and an Archer / Robin Hood style set for Hunter.
