Digging the Trials Egyptian gear? What other era would you like to see?
As soon as I saw the Egyptian gear, I loved it. My next thought was, "Ok, so there's some time traveling going on. Basically any era or culture could be used as influence for designing Guardian gear." What other eras would you like to see?
I personally would like to see some Art Deco inspired gear. If you're unfamiliar with Art Deco style, just play the first two Bioshock games, or google it. Viking inspired gear would be cool too.
If any of you are talented enough to draw or otherwise design guardian gear, let's see it!
Edit1: So many good ideas in here. Would love to lace my huntress with some Samurai gear. My Titaness would look nice in some Viking bones and fur. And for the Warlockess, some Greek Mythology Athena or Nike type swag. Would be so cool.
Edit2: I'm seeing several eras and themes getting repeated, which is awesome. And for those few who are saying "I don't want old armor, this is a futuristic game." Come on guys, first of all, I'm saying era "inspired" gear, not a straight up mockery. Besides, who of you have been to the future to know what's futuristic and what isn't? History has shown several cultures influencing one another and trends that repeat, it's only natural.

I don't mind other people liking this stuff but I think most of this past-reminiscent armor is hideous, especially all the Warlock armor. All I want is a proper futuristic looking armor set, the original vendor chest piece was a plain looking trench coat and it's the only properly good looking Warlock chest piece I've ever seen in this game, everything else is garbage and it pisses me off because I have three Warlocks, which I can promise you I wouldn't have done if I'd known this was where the Warlock armor would be going. Now I'm too invested in my characters though so I'm stuck, and it sucks because I really don't want so much, just resell the old vendor chest piece so I can buy it again and I'd be thrilled and satisfied, as it is now I have trouble looking at my character without wanting to punch him in the face and that makes it really hard to enjoy the game properly.

I could see possible Greek mythology themed stuff like they've already incorporated some Nordic among other stuff. But imagine like gear from the gods like a good example could be some Hermes-themed boots for warlocks, they would have the little wings on their feet. Artemis-theme for the hunter then like Hercules or Atlas for Titan idk. I like what they're doing with the gear though makes everyone more interesting to look at.

Give me some stereotypical dystopian. I want my hunter to have a weird particle effect monocle and some wicked tech looking dreadlocks. Big ol' black leather trench coat (worn) and boots with a ton of unnecessary buckles for my warlock. And one of those wide brimmed hats plz. Just because.
