I was just in an iron banner game. Like any other game, all was going well. My team was up by 5000 points and we were going to win. That is, until the other team (mostly titans) decided to all use their supers (bubbles) one after another at one control point for the rest of the game. This game was at Asylum on Venus and they had an infinite, indestructible fortress at control point B in the middle of the map for the whole team. We could not kill a single player on the enemy team and that 5000 point lead was quickly overtaken and we lost 17000-20000. Our score never moved beyond 17000 and we lost a crushing and completely UNFAIR defeat. I am just wondering why this kind of thing is even possible? How are you supposed to win a match when the other team is virtually indestructible.
Is their anything Bungie can do to fix this problem?
I find it completely unfair because that team will most likely win every single match guaranteed. They would peek out of the fortress and unload their Last Words and then go back into the bubbles. You couldn't kill them because their shields would just regenerate immediately. You couldn't get close because some of the bubbles had the stun feature.

-
Fist of havoc. Saw some scrubs trying to do this once, titan came right in got an easy 6 kills.
-
Cal the other point? Wait em out? You can also actually out damage bubbles aswell.
CHEATING IN CRUCIBLE ps not teamwork
Man, that sure sounded a lot like teamwork to me. If any warlock or titan was not smart enough to use their super on them and wipe them out it's no wonder you lost.
-
3 Risposte1 shattered nova Bomb with bloom and it's over. Plus that will generate 8 orbs. Then the other five guys on your team should have full supers. Being unable to counter their teamwork with your own is a personal problem. /thread
-
Yeah I brought this up once before, i mentioned they should just not allow orbs of lights in crucible, and everyone flipped out, lol I never realized how hard it was for some people to get supers without orb help
-
Haha were we in the same game? The exact same thing happened to me yesterday
-
Sounds like you should have saved a nova bomb or dropped a solar grenade inside. Pulse grenades and fist of havoc work also. Plenty you coulda did
-
3 RisposteIf you were leading just hang back and let them come to you. If time runs out you win anyway. Duh.
-
This is not cheating
-
Everyone saying it's a strategy is a -blam!-ing lowlife-loser.

Modificato da MattFoleyTMS: 4/29/2015 11:11:38 PMThe enemy team tried that to my team earlier even putting bubbles over both heavies everytime it dropped. Our team didn't get heavy once but still managed to overcome a 3500 pt deficit to win 20000 to 19500. Best comeback ever. It's all about strategy
-
1 RispondiOur team encountered this on Shores of time earlier and we still won by at least 6000 pts. We had 2 titans 1 warlock and 3 Hunters. It's just about knowing when to burn your super. FoH, Nova bomb, GG, and arcblade... Those bubbles were gone as soon as they were deployed :)
-
Is what they did unfair? Yes. Is what they did a di*k move? Yes. Is what they did cheating? Debatable. This "technique" has been known for a long time now and Bungie has said nothing on the matter.
-
Counter with your own super gg nova bomb foh all take down bubble shIelds I like foh the best for it
-
This happened to a team I was on once, but since we were already ahead, the timer put the pressure on them to finally leave their bubbles.
-
It's a super :/
-
When I see this I'll usually switch to striker and earn myself a quick cry havoc medal at least this method isn't used to often. But it is a shitty exploit that I think should be removed somehow.
-
Games are supposed to be balanced. This isn't balanced at all. It's exploiting the game mechanics to extreme degree. It's the thing as the heavy ammo on crota. People do this cause it's an easy win. No one wants to seriously play and use gun skill to kill others because they either lack the gun skill or are to lazy to even try to play fairly. People just like to get the 1 up on others no matter what, in real life or in game.
-
2 RisposteJust go into the bubbles with your own supers. There are ways to counteract this. You have to work as a team though yourself. Or draw them out instead. You said you had the lead to start, so once they started this, keep the other 2 control points. Get them to be forced to break up themselves to come to you. We had players fist of havoc Titans in bubbles, blade dance into bubbles ect.

2 RisposteModificato da MUFC: 4/29/2015 8:52:45 PMYou must have played against my clan last night lol. Another team tried this against us though. All we did was counter with chained nova bombs and rockets. Don't shoot at the bubble because it will keep generating orbs. For the record, we were controlling B and swapping for A every once in awhile. The thing about control is- having two points controlled means nothing if you are not getting kills. These guys kept coming at us like lemmings. Feeding us kills essentially.
-
Well it's almost impossible to fix intelligence. Maybe you try to get better?
-
Wow this thread keeps on giving, thought I would've died by now :3
-
Lol my team is doing this rn. It's called strategy.
-
A bunch of scrubs that can't aim a weapon and rely on their supers use this cheap strategy.
-
Guys tried that strategy against us but since we were communicating as a team we took em down easy
