The Official Auto Rifle Restoration Thread! (Bungie!)
This is my official Auto Rifle Restoration Thread. Bungie, if you are reading this, (I highly doubt it), please consider this in the future. So what would the ideal auto rifle be?
Exactly the way they were, except a range nerf. It suits everyone that way. *FROM LAST PATCH* Not from beta days or even September days.
The nerf was one of your worst decisions, because it made me hate auto rifles. I now use pulse rifles. Please, bump this! Every person who agrees, bump. Even if you avoid commenting, buff. Bungie won't make decisions like this if the general population doesn't show to care about it. Instead of constant thorn nerf posts and #classmasterrace, let's put the community together!

It pisses me off to no end that an "auto rifle" gets out classed by a shot at time cannon. It shouldn't be so weak. Honestly, the hand cannon should have a higher precision rate and less range. I hate the fact how I know what rifles and hand guns are capable of in this world. Anyway, a head shot is a head shot period. And, if I'm shooting up close, it must take precedent over a melee attack. So yea BUMP!

Bump. Got a near perfect roll on my Silimar's (reactive reload/perfect bal/crowd control) and would love to be able to use it in crucible. I played a rumble game with it and it was fun but the TTK is completely ridiculous even for a high rof AR.

They need a buff. You can't use them properly now. They got no use today, I keep em in the vault waiting. Can get more kills just using melee only in a game then just using autos.

1 RispondiAlthough I disagree with the state of auto-rifles today, I agree less with bumping them up to where they used to be. The reason being, I'm not 100% happy with the state of crucible, but I do see a lot more varied guns there. Yeah, you have the majority of hand cannon users, but it's still better then the bring suros or don't play crucible like it was before.

Bump. Never used Autos that much, honestly. Still, for all the people that do use them, I hope they all get their damages back. I never even saw the reason why they had to be nerfed from that last patch. It made no sense at all, they could've just buffed pulse rifles and left it at that. No one even complained about Autos after their first nerf as far as I seen but now they're the old pulse rifles. Bungie, just get the damages back so that no one has to think about dismantling them for space.
