The Official Auto Rifle Restoration Thread! (Bungie!)
This is my official Auto Rifle Restoration Thread. Bungie, if you are reading this, (I highly doubt it), please consider this in the future. So what would the ideal auto rifle be?
Exactly the way they were, except a range nerf. It suits everyone that way. *FROM LAST PATCH* Not from beta days or even September days.
The nerf was one of your worst decisions, because it made me hate auto rifles. I now use pulse rifles. Please, bump this! Every person who agrees, bump. Even if you avoid commenting, buff. Bungie won't make decisions like this if the general population doesn't show to care about it. Instead of constant thorn nerf posts and #classmasterrace, let's put the community together!

Bump for the removal of the last nerf from auto rifles.

Bump. I miss my ARs. They keep putting burn on weeklies to tempt me into Atheon's Epilogue or Abyss Defiant, but then I try those outside of burn and they're just a liability. I want them back like they were so that they're a viable option at any time. I'm now tired of scout rifle again.

2 RisposteAs much as I adore auto rifles, they've lost their kick. I do find myself using pulse rifles more in PvE (I find them best in PvP.) This is bad because the current line are pea shooters, they just come in two strengths 'frozen' peas or 'cooked' peas. No bullets... I would like at least the higher strength guns to have their strength back, at least half added back so they stay 'balanced'

3 RisposteSome may say that the nerf ruined SUROS, but even though I didn't have a SUROS during its glory days I can honestly say it's a beast in PvP. But I've been doing a bit of research regarding autos place in the Crucible. I used a painted Suros, Vanquisher, Eidolon Ally, SUROS and Hard Light. Eidolon Ally and subsequently Necrochasm are fun to use, but utterly useless. Painted Suros and Vanquisher can't compete with a lot of the other weapons available. Hard Light is ok, but not amazing. SUROS is just about the ONLY viable auto in the game at the moment.
