Xur ruins destiny - should never sell weapons

He does! The dude should never have sold a damn weapon. Force players to get out and seek the weapons out their selves. Having Xur being there creates controversy Controversy 1 - sells a weapon that means everyone and their camel now owns it 'icebreaker' for example. I remember when that gun meant something! I've done it on several occasions. I wont lie. Just wish the oppurtunity wasnt there Controversy 2 - ruins the crucible, take the time not so long ago he sold the 'the last word' meaning. Yet again everyone had it. And also seemed to become the biggest most overly used weapon in the pvp Controversy 3 - it creates annoying arguements over guns should be nerfed or buffed because like i say they become overly used. Or people seem to think certain guns shouldnt deal bonus damage on crucible etc... its silly. Controversy 4 - takes the appeal away if we know that the vex/necro aside and the timed exclusives aside (even though in the future he will sell them). At some point xur will sell every exotic weapon. I got so dissapointed after realising my hard light no longer meant that it was rare.. Xur should be there primarily for armour selling in my opinion. No one talks about buffing or nerfing armour xD Most of the weapons i see people find from raids/nightfalls are 9 times outta 10 dismantled to a shard... that shouldnt be what happens to what was originally meant to be the rarest guns out there... No xurning weapons = no jealousy over those with or without a ghorn or similar = no more nerfing/buffing talks (hopefully) = that wicked feeling you get after getting one of the exotics weapons would happen more frequently Or get spoonfed by xur :)
