Trial of Osiris rewards, only for a few?
What if you are just an average pvp player,
sometimes you get first place with most kill and some times you don't...
Some times you win in Rumble some times you loose. Just and average player with and average K/D.
As most players are, I reckon.
Would you have a chance in ToO.?
I mean, there will be some very skillful players out there with high K /D and good teams .
For those player it will be less struggle to get that highly sought after gear.
Will the Trial of osiris be a playground for a few very skilled players?
In other words: will it be balanced?

After reading most of your posts , in which many were very interesting and creative, I have come to my own conclusion : Yes! Trial of Osiris should be balanced. By balanced I mean in the way that the more skilled players should recive the gear they deserve.
In other words: If you don't have it, you won't get it.
As for now we don't know much about ToO, so our opinions are speculative.
We have to wait one more day to find out....

I think Bungie is probably going to cop out and make it so that skilled players will earn the loot faster but that even shitty players will be able to earn the gear if they play enough. That's bull shit to be honest. What's the point of having an end game pvp activity if everyone can earn the gear? There's no ranking system in destiny. Having the trials gear will be the only thing to make skilled players stand out. But if everyone eventually is running around with it, there's nothing to distinguish a top 1% player from a bottom 25% player. I really really hope Bungie has the balls to be ok with walling off a chunk of their player base from the gear by making it skill based earning. Sadly, the more I think about it, the more I remember that the vast majority of the destiny player base sucks some major ass at pvp so Bungie is likely to cater to all those scrubs. Sigh. What happened to competition in games? I miss it.

6 Risposte9-0 is Average!? I don't think so... I AM average! And could not even get a win. Something that would make ToO better would be leveling matches, meaning that if you lose constantly then you are put against other players who are losing as much as you, that way it would be fair for everyone and eventually you would get your chance at the Lighthouse or whatever. But for average players like ME it's just not possible.

I am average 1.2 k/d found a good team Carried each other sometimes i would play like crap sometimes i went god mode carried the team 7-0 was my best in a round its all about finding ppl that can cover ur mistakes and communicate and play as a team play to each others weaknesses flank play smart revive its not to hard to reach 9-0 with all the buffs or w.e the guy sells

Then they (a party of 6) proceed to use all sorts of vulgar language and sexual references to express how happy they were with themselves on ruining my trials experience. Why is this "community" full of assholes? I just cannot fathom why people are so rude. IcyJuices

I like the way Trials is set up right now. I'm by no means a bad player and I'm not a good one either. I have gotten to the Lighthouse and I've gotten the spoils of 2 days of grinding Trials. Was it worth it? Hell no I got a Solar Scout Rifle that pales in comparison to my Vision Of Confluence. I got most of my gear from just playing and having fun. Why will nobody else have fun?

I'm very average PvPer went 9-0 on my Titan and Warlock today.

It's based by connection to minimize lag. Also, I went 8-0 before getting rekt. But every time I won the losers would get a whole bunch of stuff.

No love for ToO from me, this lag shit fest ruined 2 score cards for me yesterday.... Iron banner much better event. If the connection is crap, you quit and join a different game...

If you are three average players and you use team work you'll be fine. If you can't do that then you don't deserve the rewards that's the point of rewards they are earned not given

Its a competitive game. If you arent good at pve you didnt get crota gear. Same thing

1 RispondiMy two cents... ToO (as you call it) is like any other Crucible event we have now. The only difference is that it's made up of rounds in an overall "sport" structure. No reason why the average player can't partake and do good. Only downside... no matchmaking. Which means the average person, like me... can't play.
