Everyone is leaving Destiny. The fanboys(I am one, relax guys) will defend and say no...nobody is leaving. But they are.
Tuesday morning and all of my raid group/clan...didn't even sign into Destiny. Some are playing other things...taking a break...some didn't even get on xbox live. No nightfalls. No weeklys.
And these are players with over 1,000 hours.
Destiny has officially lost its draw. It's not holding attention anymore. It's unfortunate. I've been trying to warn you, but unfortunately I'm a pebble in a very large river.
Good luck to Destiny as it wanes into the land of obscurity along with "greats" like Titanfall.
I love Destiny. But it doesn't love me back.

1 RispondiModificato da pacificdune: 8/4/2015 6:02:46 AMI've literally played this game for months... Started my own clan, recruited players, recruited more players... Helped new players through raids, through Crota, through Skolas... Became good @ PVP... (Was really bad when I started...) All but two friends have stopped playing. I think that the last straw was nerfing the weapons we worked so hard to acquire. I ran 69 Crota normal runs to get black hammer because I new it was special. Now they turned it into and other solar sniper with speed reload. The time I spent getting Thorn while I sucked at crucible? Soon to be worthless. None of my friends play any more... I wonder why... Guess maybe I should move on.

Simple fix for me would be weapon balance. Pvp is the only thing i enjoy. Everything else is at the request of my friends. I got on recently to help a buddy go to mercury. Other than that its been a few weeks. Alot of any fan base is pvp but the weapon balance neglect is real. They want me to buy a new dlc but havent addressed the original issues first. 1 year and only one major weapons patch? ARs plz

Titanfall 2 will be awesome. Destiny 2? Not so much if its more of the same. Production already started so its going to come out. Hopefully this game 'dies' in Destiny 1 so they put some effort into Destiny 2.

Modificato da Phil de Blanc: 8/4/2015 4:18:15 PMMy old clan only gets on every few weeks. Great fun with them when they do. I'm forming new teams and recently started a clan again, but wish the game had more story and was truly open and mysterious. Disappointed the game mechanics are so simple. I miss Halo NPC you could equip with a found weapon and they could run an entire campaign with you: changing each play-through! Keeping It Fresh. Bring back Forge so enough content can be generated. This Walled Garden is a barren and linear maze. As Verik the Loyal says, "Kill the architects, back" Kidding. But I do believe they need to be knocked off that high-horse named Ego. Maybe by the end of next year this will be the AAA title they clap themselves on the back over. I'll cheer them then, too.

Modificato da BunkerGATE13: 8/4/2015 5:32:01 AMI'm saddened that players are shocked when they move around in games. This is the part the industry controls and keeps working... .what we pay them for doing.. What makes it work is the release dates. They know when each will come out with the next hot model and begin work to counter it. Much like the guns show here in destiny. Quite interesting if you sit back and look at it all like that. . Games are designed...with a life span. A shelf life if you will. So that you eventually feel the need to get the next one. This isn't a negative thing - it's just how it is. And how you deal with that makes it good or bad. It actually keeps all gamers - in all games - who may have never even met before interested. ..by .. mixing it up from time to time. The digital world is nothing- you can't bring anything physical back from it and into the world. But what you do have the power to bring back with you is the knowledge. I will be happy for the day I can lay my rifle down and look for a different challenge to overcome- and not resentful over it. Because there is always the next game around the corner. Fortunately online ones with escaping DLC can cope a bit better. Who knows. Maybe you will be a designer one day and will be frustrated why you can't get gamers to play.. But honestly it won't happen. Because the thirst of these game reviewers for new games to shine spotlights on- will draw in all of those game moths. . ..The winged gamers who flock from one bright light to the next...Then wonder why they get dizzy and fall into the Web. It's the reviewers who drive the hype- the reviewers who make the game industry spend millions on flashy E3 hype shows.. Who goes to those.. not gamers.. reviewers ... Don't be the moth Be the light

cancelled my pre-order, and its sad cuz I really love the gameplay, I just cant stand how they treat their community anymore, or even their own employes. First Marty got fired, then the lead writed quite (And the story got gutted) and now, in order to get the (kinda) cool stuff from the collectors edition, I have to also buy the original game + the DLCs, again. I really like the game, so im trying to push it in the right direction the only way I can, by not buying the expensive stuff. I dont hate the game, I just want to try to make an impact, to show how I feel about their attitude towards the community that has loved the game and supported it since day one. Really hope they get back in the right direction. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZ5BpeHVTWY

Yea I'm taking a break unless they released the weapon patch sooner than later. My auto rifles are ready to go but until then, I'm looking to play something else. Anything good for the One?

Yep you was right....

Who wants to place bets on how long destiny will last?

5 RisposteAs Commander Zavala says at the end of the Devils Lair strike "They'll come back, they always do."

5 RisposteThis is stupid if you don't like destiny them leave nobody cares and bungee wouldn't care either because when taken King comes out there will always be more people coming

2 RisposteDay one player with around 1000 hours played. Barely touched the game in about three weeks. Got myself fired up to run Flawless Raider and finally complete the achievements earlier. Turned the game on and ran a 28 PoE to warm up the shooting reflexes. 145 kills later I entered the Hive Arena for the boss round and was met with a weasel error code. -blam!- Flawless Raider, I'm done with Destiny!
-
Dead on with my Xbox friends too!!! Just dying for Borderlands 3 to finally release a date.
-
Yeah I just gave trials a try for the first time as everything else got dull and now I'm definitely taking a break. Too many hours of life wasted trying to get different looking armor and dealing with unbalanced pvp.
-
3 RisposteYup. I'm at the point were I come on get my nine strange coins and leave. I will do night fall or raids to help friends but that's about it.

Modificato da Ardenstone: 8/4/2015 4:26:17 AMI've been calling this since launch. It's too bad. I had high hopes for this game. When I found out they gave us 25% of the original game during alpha, the depression kicked in.

3 RisposteNechrochasm, multi skolas kills, every Elder Cipher completed. Quit playing a week ago and I'm honestly pretty happy with it. All my friends quit playing anyway and they were the only reason I stuck around. This game is dead. Even when I quit WOW I wanted to go back. With destiny I feel zero inclination to return. Flame all you want, I come to these forums hoping to read updates from bungie about how they will improve TTK but nada. Looks like release will come and go and I will not even notice.

I agree destiny is losing players but that is to be expected. In my opinion HoW was a let down for pve players, for the most part. I for one was spent most of my time doing raids and strikes. After running Crota and Vault a over a hundred time they have gotten old. Strikes have gotten stale and I cannot remember the last time I did the daily. I started getting pvp heavy when HoW started. The past few weeks I have noticed I am not having as much fun being in competition either. But in absence of a content heavy expansion, I think people leaving destiny for other activities is to be expected. I for one have no problem with destiny, I have enjoyed the game every much. HoW took away the grind and made destiny better for casual players, but die hard players suffered. I am not sure if I will take a long break from destiny before TTK but I have slowed down tremendously. I am looking forward to TTK as I am sure most of us are.

Day one player here I've been off of destiny for three weeks now I will admit I have did the nightfalls with a friend to see if he will get the ghorn but that's it destiny has truly gotten really stale

3 RisposteModificato da TeeJa VasAlarei: 7/13/2015 10:52:37 PMI actually went back and played Titanfall and can't believe how much I enjoy the PVP in it! And all it took was the broken mess that Destiny has for PVP for me to appreciate how great Titanfall is! Bump!!!
