Destiny needs a trading system for all players heck even make it cross platform if you want just add it
Edit: feel free to state why you would or would not want trading in the game
Edit 2: it would be a fair system with once a week trading friends only (have to be friends for at least a week) and costs 10 motes

I don't care how long I go without getting a black hammer. I never want the ease of being able to trade for it. I like being able to work towards something and feel some sort of reward at the end of the day; even if it is RNG drops.
-
6 RisposteIt would break the game it depends on the trading system. If it's just straight up trading then there would end up people "selling" items instead of trading. If it was like Diablo 3s trading system it might work
-
No. Because I have everything. Haha. Just kidding. Kind of. I don't really care anymore. I used to want trading until I got what I wanted. Then I stopped caring about it. I'm sure there's some parallel to real life that I could learn from this but nah. I'll sleep tight with my 3 Gjallarhorns and 3 FBs.
-
1 RispondiI LOVE it when people put up these posts about trading and it backfires on them. Just love it.
-
Why there should be no trading: 1: people would start selling exotics and stuff for real money £$€ 2: everyone will have everything too quickly and this would mean bungie would have to release new content like every week just to keep people playing. 3: those who want trading are just desperate for exotics and end game gear
-
So I can get my hawkmoon after 107 raid completions....
-
Everybody without a gally...
-
2 RisposteTrading for minor things like Sapphire wire
-
The only people who want trading are ones who don't have Gjallarhorn lol. I personally don't care but feel the only reason I still play is collect everything. If I could just trade for the few exotics I don't have, what's the point of continuing to play?
-
If I could trade I would have all the exotics now... And that is boring. I like the excitement of a new drop. Plus, with trading comes annoying hawkers and spam and worse drop rates and all sorts of things I am glad are not part of the game.
-
1 RispondiYes! Why is no winning????
-
There's nothing to trade... 24 guns >_>
-
People would be done with the game in a week
-
2 RisposteYes but weapons only. No instant lvl 32s.
-
Uh no. There is no content to trade
-
They could add it for minor items. I have 3 characters. My Titan is the last one I made and he's constantly struggling for plasteel plating. My Warlock on the other hand was the 1st character I made amd has more than 600 pieces of hardronic essence. I don't need anywhere near that much and would happily trade some of it with someone who has too much plating. Assuming they have a Warlock and need it
-
It would be disastrous.
-
No, reason being there is not enough content to get players playing already. By allowing trading, it would lessen the already lack of content. This game relies on that "Carrot on the end of a stick" for people to play this game. 99.9% of the people playing still, are missing or wanting exotics they don't have. You give them an easier way to do that, trading, then that carrot will be much shorter and this game would have died. Players that are like me that have 99% of the exotics and 3-32's are losing the want to play. The only reason for me to boot this game up over the past 6 weeks, was to do nightfalls to try to get the 2 exotic weapons I am missing. Since launch up until 6 weeks ago.....I had over 600 hours into this game. Over these past 6 weeks I have logged maybe 6 hours at the most. If there was trading......I would have dropped this game completely months ago.

Have trading but only between Fireteam members. So say a group of 6 complete a raid and somebody receives their 9th Gjallarhorn and one person in the group has never had one drop, instead he receives a No Land Beyond. At the Rewards screen the two players will be able to trade, but that's the only chance you get . And it can work with legendary weapons as well
-
Yes for trading but there has to be clever restrictions and it has to be coded very well. My idea is that you should only be able to trade items to players that were on your fireteam when you received them.
-
Yes in the sense that you have to trade something of equal value. If not then no it would be a horrible idea
-
Never gonna happen. There's not enough content and if they added it everyone would have every exotic in the game. Plus there are all the problems it adds like duping.
-
18 RisposteHave trading but only between clan members
-
1 RispondiI say yes and here's what I feel would be a sensible way to do it. Trading could only be done amongst fireteam members at the end of an activity. So say you run VOG and you don't have the Vex and another member of your fireteam doesn't have VOC. you receive VOC and the other member receives Vex. You would have a short amount of time to swap said items amongst yourselves before leaving heading back to orbit. This would keep people from constantly posting and requesting trades as you would still have to complete the activity in order to even be in a position to make a trade.
