Which do you think has the most horrendous community? If I didn't include the community that is most caustic and cretinous in your opinion, please feel free to state it below.
Edit: Online community can be either the playing community or the forums or both.

1 RispondiAfter what has transpired in the past week, Destiny has risen over CoD for second-shittiest community. It's like the Purges from Stalin's era over at #Destiny.
LoL is still worse though.
League of Legends, or any MOBA for that matter.

Was about to choose destiny...then I seen cod as an option. Must push aside hate to defeat the greater evil.
-
Any moba community ever.

Gears of war

League of legends can be horrendous especially when you're just starting out. It ends up killing it for a lot of new players before they can even get the hang of it.
-
2 RisposteProbably Smite, that was the first and only MOBA I ever played (PC) and most (not all, I've met some really good people on there but that was extremely rare) of the people on there are the biggest pieces of sh*t you will ever come in contact with...always telling new players that are learning that they suck, go find a new game, we're reporting you (for no reason). If someone is getting owned they'll curse out the team and blame it on them even though the team is doing fine they just suck, and 9/10 if your team feels like they're versing a better team they all start voting to surrender instead of having a good match, they would rather just verse teams they know they'll stomp, I don't get how that's fun...I prefer close games where the teams are neck and neck the whole time. I guess that's what you get when you make a game free to play game on PC, you'll get all these angry unemployed losers that cant afford a new game, so because they are miserable they ruin it for everyone else. I enjoyed the game a lot...but the toxic community on PC just made me not want to bother with it anymore.
-
4 RisposteBy far CoD, although there's some nice content coming out for CoD the community within the game is just God awful... At least in destiny people will help you out if your a level 5 in patrol...

2 RisposteModificato da GiantTurtleWave: 5/17/2015 2:51:45 PMDo people just hate on COD because it's cool? lol it's not perfect, but now almost everyone likes to act like they hate it.

2 RisposteCOD, but tbh the more i hang out on these forums, the more i realize how cancerous this community really can be
-
I'd say league of legends . I've met some good friends in league but I've played with a lot of toxic people. The lowest point I've seen was when I was jungling some guy lost lane and then said he would decapitate my mom and make the head felate him if I don't camp his lane. There are a lot of trolls in league
-
1 RispondiPick any MOBA, there you go. Nothing beats BioWare's forums a few years ago though. That place was like wading through toxic sludge.

5 RisposteThose 3 you mentioned are very similar... Although the uninitiated to gaming find less enjoyment from battlefield and destiny... They seem to stick to games they can play decently. I've found the negativity within any community to typically come from white American teenage males. I don't know why this is, it could range from a multitude of societal issues. The fact that they are the majority maybe. But it is what it is. I've always wondered what the stereotype for white Americans is. And now I know. I forever hear about Jews and African Americans, and thought to myself... So what's the whites stereotypical flaw? There must be one. Their teenagers aren't good at games, and play to troll, so they can win at some avenue of gaming. I guess it's fear of failure. Thirst for victory. Yeah, it creates a lot of collateral damage. Tons of white kids who aren't emotionally crippled, ignorant, egocentric wastes of space. Just like there are Jews who don't actually aim to bank roll you into slavery, and dark skinned folk who don't steal and intimidate as a first response. I still find this fair.

1 RispondiI don't play COD anymore, haven't since Blops 1, but a lot of cool people played COD. I made quite a few online friends playing. And none were squeakers. Never played Destiny, so... I voted for Battlefield. A lot of elitist douches play it and no one uses a mic. And at best you're talking to only a few people out of 32 on your team so it doesn't promote communication and community. The Battlelog forums are also full of elitist complainers.
-
1 RispondiThe CoD community isn't even that bad. People just think that everyone on CoD is twelve because of some viral videos they've seen on YouTube. Most of the CoD community are actually pretty cool. I've made most of my friends through random matchmaking in TDM. Battlefield doesn't really promote team communication, but that community isn't bad either. However, the Destiny community is horrendous. Everyone is always complaining and elitism runs wild in that community.
