I've been gaming for 30 years. There has never been any other game that I've wanted to keep playing over and over again for over 1000 hours! Never! Obviously destiny is fun and has a lot going for itself. But then again they really have no competition because it is the first shooter of its kind at doing what it does. It's not in competition with borderlands although some of you wanna think that. The better comparable will be the Division, even though It's third person, it's more alike. As developers begin to make more shared world/RPG/mmo shooters for consoles then destiny will have competition and may lose a lot of its player base. But I will say this, the gunplay mechanics in destiny are unrivaled!

(Except Crota and templar) I can't think of any game where I have beaten a boss this many times. Do i enjoy playing though it? Not really after the third time. Do i get excited when the boss dies and the victory squares spin and u hit the jackpot? Of course. To Destiny's defense there hasn't been many great games to come out. (Not including remastered games) I have all the exotics now and have been playing Bloodborne. (Beat it once about to start a new playthrough). Hopefully they will make leveling up weapons fun and the new game mode will be a good time.

1 RispondiIt would seem consistent that people who love our fun game enough to be 32x3 defend it. I however, feel that dissent is the highest form of patriotism, and that is why I constantly push to improve my fun game 32x3.

We've sunk time and energy into it and feel a personal connection to the game, therefor when someone bashes it, we get a bit defensive. It's a labor of love for a lot of us, despite its flaws. I honestly believe that the foundation of destiny is good enough that when the content finally arrives, the game is going to be *amazing*. I mean, the gun-battles are second to none. The shooting mechanics are flawless!!! The graphics are nothing short of stunning, especially on next gen consoles. All that is lacking is content, and what will time solve? The lack of content. Therefor, I have 3 32s, and I take umbrage when the game is attacked, and feel necessary to defend it.

Are there many players that don't have 3 32's ? Crotas end is easy and cheese able as hell, there are some atrocious players with 3 32's I'm guessing atleast half the people who play destiny somewhat reguarly have 3 32's that's why you see them all the time

I'm not defending this game, I do like it but that's my opinion, but if someone hates it why do they play it so much? Just my curiosity wondering around. Also with the hours I put in, I got far beyond my $60 worth. Last time I didn't like a game, I didn't invest hours on hours into the game. Sure I've bought games I didn't like, and I either sold them to make a decent percentage back, or just didn't play it much at all. I never ever went to forums to complain about my hatred for the game, but still invest hours into it.

Let them defend it, I don't have any 32's but I enjoy the game. I moved onto Diablo 3(RoS as well) and have been playing that. Games always have defenders, it's a fact

I'm the opposite. I talk shit about the game constantly because I have 3 32s and it isn't fun for me. I have everything the game has to offer by only playing once a week and even that once a week I get bored in 5 minutes. It's pretty bad. Destiny kinda sucks if I can get every class to 32 and still hate it for the time being.

Probably because the people who defend it are the ones who enjoy it. Those who enjoy it play more. Those who play more have more high level gear. That said, my opinion of HoW is TBD since I [i]haven't freggen played it yet.[/i] [spoiler]2+2=chair[/spoiler]
