I paid for a new raid, not a new strike.
"Arena" is a fancy word for "strike with no path to follow."
Don't get me wrong, I like new story content, and hell, I like new strikes, too, but would I pay 20 bucks for it if old content is going to be upgraded? Probably not. Raids are the fun part of the end game. Not putting a new raid on content that A LOT of people have already paid for is just kind of immoral. Just call it a patch, not an expansion. The only thing it seems to be expanding is a side note on a story that no one understands, and unlocking content that is already on the game, just has been withheld from players. Bungie, I'm a fan, but I would be lying if I said this didn't piss me off.
tl;dr
It's not right to hype up an expansion and not put a raid in it, AFTER people have paid for it.

They never said we were getting a new raid every dlc, so cant hold that against them. They are however making one, presumably learning from the mistakes of the atrocity that was TDB (it was a glorified strike) and aiming for something similar to vog. Besides we have the arena, which is most likely the horde mode people have been screaming out for. Cant complain about a new game mode, that is actual new content because bothing exists in destiny before it. Nonetheless it could but utter shite but we wont know until weve played it :p

1 RispondiThe way I look at it is they may be working on a raid and want more time to test it and iron out bugs. I am also hoping the arena will have bosses with mechanics, even something simple like baiting the boss to try melee you so that a fellow guardian can hit a spot on it to make the boss more exposed.

This is why I dislike the data miners, though don't get me wrong..kinda impressive. But my point is this, the information that was data mined was upcoming content, not necessarily upcoming soon. Everything is subject to change. EVERYTHING. Stop being an entitled little child and get over it. Plus you're bashing on the arena before even trying it? Whateven. If they do the arena right, similiar to how that one game mode was done in ODST(the name escapes me) then I'd rather have that than another 20 minute cheesable raid like CE. PLUS to finish this off. Wouldn't you rather they push the raid back? Making it bug/glitch free?
