Would you pay 5 or more exotic shards to add an element to your fav exotic primary
Would you pay 5 or more exotic shards to a tower NPC( xur, gunsmith etc.) to add an elemental damage type to your favorite exotic primaries. Imagine Hawkmoon with Arc damage :D
Edit: A lot of people are saying 5 exotic shards aren't enough and I think I agree to an extent. If it were 25 shards Id still do it to add the extra usefulness to my favorite gun.
Obligatory Edit 2: Overwhelmingly positive responses to this idea and I'm sure this idea has been brought up before but it would be amazing if Bungie would implement this.

1 RispondiGreat idea, but way more than 5 shards. I've never spent a strange coin on a shard and typically have atleast 20 at any given time. (And that's without trying to accumulate them, just dismantling duplicates)

3 RisposteYes, of course. It would never happen of though as they would potentially invalidate raid weapons and make nightfalls a little too easy for everyone, robbing raid veterans of their accomplishments.

1 RispondiYou hope for 5? That may seem reasonable to you (maybe you have very little shards) but for a feature like that would cost way more. I have over 50 so im thinking 25 would be good.
