We all have had that time when a kid below 15 years of age joins our game. But why do you kick them? What I'm saying is the kid isn't a squeaker and he behaves, why u gotta be assholes and kick him?
If you like discussions like these follow me here in BUNGIE I post frequently about 1-3 times a week.

2 RisposteI have played many a raid with all ages. Age is irrelevant so long as you can be a teammate, not be a jerk, and focus on the raid.
-
I don't see why so many people on the forums complain about little kids here I have never found one while looking for a raid group on this website

1 RispondiModificato da jordanmclordin: 4/27/2015 3:50:13 PMThe only reason I could think of for kicking someone around that age would be because they are talking way too much and/or aren't doing much (if anything) to contribute to the raid.

2 RisposteDon't have this problem tbh
im on Xbox
Well it's kinda annoying when the little kids say annoying things like 1: I -blam!-ed your mom last night, X5 times. 2: failed a mission, you guys suck at this game. 3: just screaming down the Mic so loud you can't hear annyone else. I understand some people just kick sqeakers and just younger people in general but we all were like that at some point and all in have to give advaice is try to stay calm talk at a calm place, don't do insulting jokes that could affect people in game, and just be cool about things, don't get frustrated about replaying a mission or part of a raid just play and have fun.
-
I allow them and just mute them if they don't shut the -blam!- up. Some of them aren't annoying and only talk when they need to which is cool. But I had a couple in particular that were trying to tell people what to do when they had only beaten vog twice lol. I told him to shut the hell up and muted. Then had my buddy tell him what to do since he has more patience than me.

Yay reached 600 can we reach 700????

Ive met a lot more late teens and early twenties players who are far more annoying than a younger kid.
-
I felt the same way until i joined a party with a ten year old. He did whatever he pleased, shouted at the team constantly, pronounced everything wrong, and asked ridiculous questions. I ignored it for a while, but then I just got tired and left.

Modificato da CrudeDude: 4/27/2015 4:12:48 PMBecause nerds like to feel powerful.

When I first started playing I had no problems gaming with younger players but as time passed I grew tired of the chattery, know it all attitudes. I won't kick you, I only kick attention seeking teen & 20 something girls.
-
1 RispondiSomething tells me youre under 15
-
Only once and the kid didn't listen to anyone and was just over all annoying. Only time i have ever kicked someone mid raid
-
if they don't stop talking kick em, unless its relevant or like a group conversation... If they don't listen, depending on the raid, kick em.
-
Most children I run into are either obnoxious or try to lead the group when they themselves wind up dying the most.
-
2 RisposteBecause I like playing with people who are mature
-
I give them a chance. But a lot of them just do not stay quiet. You can't even communicate over them telling the raid how many Gjallarhorns they have or how many people they know have Gjallarhorns. I was in vog and we couldn't even call out Mars or Venus cause this kid wouldn't shut up about his ghorn or where is ps4 handle came from.
-
I wouldn't say I'm a squeaker any more but I'm 14. But I do understand why people don't really like us in first impressions.. That's why I keep my mic muted until I need to answer something or my team doesn't know what to do..
-
I have never actually kicked anyone aside from a player who was idle. However, is it impossible to believe that because I wouldn't hang out with 10-15 year olds in real life, maybe I don't want to hang out with them in a game. Nothing against them, but middle school and high school aren't really that interesting to me. Either way, I never kick any of them, but I can easily see how people would.
-
Had a kid in a raid with us the other day, he dint speak throughout vog, only at the end when i asked if he wanted to run CE HM. After that we couldnt get him to shutup about all is exotics and how many ascendant materials hes got. My guess is he was 14-16. Just shutup and play the fking game. Nobody cares....except you.
-
True Story during a Nightfall Me-"either of you guys got gjallarhorn or another good exotic heavy?" squeaker-"Dude I've got every exotic in the game!" Me-"great....." squeaker-"so want me to get my ghorn out? or how about thunderlord or dragon's breath" Me-"whatever one you want" squeaker-"I'll just use gjallarhorn" other guy(with his ghorn already out)-"finally.... now shut up about your guns and lets take down this boss!!!" That kind of cocky rant is what eventually gets the under age players kicked. Not the tone of their voice(I just wasn't gunna be the dick that kicks someone at the boss)
I do have gjallarhorn(in fact I have 3)and all of the exotic heavys
Modificato da Electro: 4/27/2015 3:21:25 PMI did VoG hard yesterday with a group of about 4 squeakers and I really didn't care. They didn't yell so loud that my eardrums bled or anything like that. They had good communication, did what was needed, and we got it done with 3 wipes.
One of those little lucky bastards got a fatebringer though.
Modificato da Fromage of Havoc: 4/27/2015 3:21:53 PM
What I'm saying is the kid isn't a squeaker and he behaves
Because 9/10 times, the 14- year old doesn't behave...they are clueless to this, though, to the point they come into the forums and open a thread about if, after several people voiced their displeasure during party chat...It is simply easier to save one's breath...
