Bungie just murdered special weapons.
What do you guys think of the upcoming update? I don't mind it.
They pretty much took away all special ammo in crucible.

Time to start memorizing the ammo box locations so i can spawn camp people when the special drops.

3 RisposteThey didn't take away all the special ammo. They reduced how you use special weapons because let's face it, people were rarely using their primary unless they had thorn. People were running around with shotguns with practically infinite ammo. Now, I love sniping. It's fun, and a skilled art. With that being said...I'm for anything that makes people use their primaries more. Because all special weapons can one shot you, no primaries can (except Hawkmoon). What they really did was increase the skill cap for players, which people frequently complain about. So all in all, they are moving in the right direction. Disclaimer: The special ammo tweak is absolutely useless without the auto rifle buff, which I saw no mention of.

2 RisposteOkay... let me get this straight. Almost completely dissipate special ammo because of "shotgun spammers". I feel bad for the players who actually love and cherish sniping. They take the hit because of terrible decision making on Bungie's behalf. I'll tell you what will happen in the next month or two. Say goodbye to either your stability, rate of fire, or impact on those precious hand cannons that we all love. Seriously, the only thing they will accomplish with this special ammo patch is elevate the hate towards Thorn, TLW, and my precious Hawkmoon. Book it, hand cannon "rebalance" coming soon. Random thought... All my years playing CoD, I've never known or heard of Activision rebalancing weapons. I may be wrong, but that kept some consistency and long term enjoyment alive for me. It's like with this brand of Pvp, we are glorified lab rats. Let's see how this all plays out

Also the nerf that made heavy not drop from killed guardians who had heavy made it pointless to use an exotic heavy in PvP.(this new Nerf amplifies it.) Same with exotic specials. I guarantee you will rarely ever see pocket infinity, plan c, 4th horsemen, and patience&time. It will be thorn, tlw, hawkmoon, and red death galore.

It MAY prevent the bs I see in Control: 1 Guy rushes a flag with Felwinter's Lie and destroys 2-3 players on flag and caps it. Lol.

It has potential to up the challenge and strategy level; with limited ammo caches and drops, the berserk run(blink) shot gun method may slow down a bit having the force the player to play more strategically to make sure they don't run out of ammo in a precarious situation or that they screw their team by hording ammo before any one else can get it. I personally look forward to matches where teams can ammo starve the oponent.

Titan defender class deals void punches as well using warlock void spec. ,very awesome if u got the exotic arms for both classes

I was going to come back and atleast play some pvp since I'm done with pve until HoW. After reading this though I think I'm done. I love my pocket infiniti in pvp it's fun. Now they want all of us to use pulse rifle and pistols. How about let us play how we want to play and stop trying to make everything balanced wtf.you will never have balance not when there are more bad people at pvp than good.
