Farewell Gjallarhorn
As a day-one'er and a frequent player, I've come to grips that I simply am not going to receive this weapon. I have every other exotic (available on xb1), multiples in fact of most of them, yet I have never received this prized weapon. I have finally made peace that I will never get it. While the RNG is a factor, I should have received it by now with how much I play and how many times I have done an event or action that can yield exotic weapons. So I will continue to use my thunderlord, truth, or HoC and still be just as effective. Oh yes, and I will continue to visit Xur and see that he has the upgrade for gjallarhorn for sale yet again. Farewell Gjallarhorn.
Edit 1: Did the Crota raid last night, and guess what?! Someone else got it. Someone who literally just completed their 2nd Crota raid ever.
Edit 2: Did 2 more Crota raids and 1 VoG run and each time someone else got the gjallarhorn. LOL
Edit 3: Finally got that suma bitch last night from PoE. Literally gave up and didnt care any more. It will however be 365 by the end of the day. Abandoning all hope to obtain it really works!

I can understand what you are saying. Day one player that just recently started raiding. I figure sooner or later it will drop and if it doesn't who cares. I am more interested in Dark souls 2 and Bloodborne on PS4 then Destiny as of late.

I just got one from VoG one day. Its great but not the end all be all of weapons. Personally I just wanted it cause it looks cool

3 RisposteI gave up on getting Ghorn and have proceeded to get 3 of them. 2 from Legendary engrams (1 from cryptarch pkg and 1 from yesterdays weekly) and 1 from HM Crota. (First time I actually got good rewards as swordbearer) .

I gave up weeks ago, i haven seen 4 drop this week and only one of those was needed. I have gotten three last word :( rng is a joke.

Trust me, you'll get it. I'm a day one player too. Over 1000 hours. 6 characters made. Ran everything you could ever do... Last week I didn't get 1 ghorn.. I got 2! And yesterday I got my 3rd. Hang in there. It's totally worth it.

Honestly, it's not worth it. I have it and I don't know what to tell you. It's nifty but I have more useful weapons.

When you stop hunting it you'll find it. I gave up a couple months ago and found it two weeks later. I've picked up five more since then. It'll happen for you. My friend was in the same boat and received it from a legendary engram after the heroic daily yesterday.

At least thats the only one. I have 5 exotics that will not drop. At this point I've had at least 3 of each exotic that I have drop. By your 4th hawkmoon or no land beyond it doesnt matter, you just gey sick of the gun... To make things worse, crota refuses to give me hunger....bastard

It'll drop for you when you don't expect it. I got mine off phogoth the other week and was shocked when I seen it.

Really hope you day 1 players eventually get gjallarhorn. Was in the same bost until a month ago where I got it from nightfall with randoms. Other one was so jelly lel
