A simple and fair solution to Thorn
Simple, alter its exotic DOT perk.
The DOT perk will become akin to Luck in the Chamber with DOT on top of it. I propose that TWO lucky rounds have the poison effect applied to them while the rest well be normal projectiles.
If this is applied, it will be a soft nerf to the poison effect abuse in the crucible and the weapon will also still be viable in PVE due to people spending more rounds into high health bosses/enemies ensuring the poison lucky rounds will proc.

I have a thorn and suck with it so I don't use. I'm just not a hand Cannon guy. I'm a little better with tlw but still prefer suros and either felwinters lie or plug 1

it would be great if we got an honest post on here. instead of NERF this because I'm too bad of a player to counter it/don't have it. I suck at crucible, never once have I felt the weapon a person used is the reason for my death. A weapon doesn't jump up and kill you by itself, so play better to counter that player's style. It's gone so far that people who don't have enough sense to look around before charging headfirst into a shotgun blast and come here to cry over it changed the game. Learn to play, play something different, or accept your current level of skill and play on, just stop crying over what weapon killed you.

6 RisposteJust adapt your stuff against hand cannons. If you are having problems against thorn, I wanna know how TLW isnt even worse opponent to you. See thorns user has to hit 2 headshots to outgun TLW, while Last worder can literally aim at legs.

2 RisposteThe people who are defending thorn's strength because they think it is hard to obtain crack me up. It's only hard to obtain for the people that need thorn to do well in crucible, and that's the real reason they're defending it.

I can use Juju, Silimar's Wrath, etc. and be alright. It's not what everyone makes it out to be until you kill someone as all you have to do is press B to have them miss a burst.
