Do you like waiting for people to do the heavy glitch
My friend always does it and it takes about 3 minutes every time and it gets really annoying

1 RispondiI played with a guy last night who explained that he has tons of synthesis but doing the heavy ammo glitch keeps him from worry about cooldowns. I kinda understood his perspective. But here is why he is wrong in most circumstances: Most people in lfg do the middle/right ogre room strat. If you pop a heavy ammo synth directly at the beginning of the crystal room, you will have enough rockets to down crota for two swords, and still have 2-3 rockets leftover (depending on gear). This is also assuming you down him twice and that at least four people are shooting rockets that all make direct hits on crota. If this is done, each of the four rocket shooters will only need to fire 1 rocket each on each kneel of crota. By the time you get to the ogre rooms, your synth cool down will be ready again, due to the time taken to clear the crystal room, and wait for crota rotations. In the ogre room, each person on the fireteam can fire two rockets to easily kill the ogre. At this point you will have between 3-5 rockets left and only need to kneel crota one more time. Which will only require one rocket. Understanding this, you can know you will have plenty of heavy ammo. This is also assuming that no heavy ammo packs drop for the entire duration of the encounter, if any do, then you have even more that you can use to help burn the swordbearer, and kill ogres. So as you can see, there is no need to ever do the heavy ammo glitch. Although I would love to hear if you have another reason for doing it!

It shouldn't take three minutes. I can drain my ammo while activating the crystal and be good to go by the time the shield wall drops. I have tons of synth, but there's no cooldown on the glitch.

Make him use No Land Beyond with reload cancel it takes 10-15 seconds to shoot out ammo AND switch weapons which can be done after presence if crota has started

I don't care either way. I say be prepared for either method, don't get your panties in a bunch, relax and play. Destiny is a game of grinding. All you have is time to do the same things over and over usually with people you love playing with so calm yourself and just enjoy the gaming. If you have the patience to sit and play the same story line, bounties, raids, nightfall and weekly missions then by all means you should be capable of waiting for someone to complete the heavy ammo glitch, which does not take three minutes. Although, it feels like it sometimes... Also, just be happy that there is an alternative way to get heavy ammo. What about when you pop a synthesis and you don't get any ammo from it? If someone else is heavy glitching then I will. If not zür has had it enough I won't be running out anytime soon. Be prepared... Glitch and synthesis... All appropriate at the right times.

One synth will get me though Crota. That's all I need. Eventually heavy ammo drops somewhere.

Here's the problem with synths: cool down and it only fills your rockets to max capacity once. I'd rather have no cool down and about 15 heavy packs lying around. Ogres? Here's 4 Gjallarhorn shots for one and 3 for the other. Now I go pick up the packs instead of waiting 5 minutes for less ammo.

I don't care... But if it is taking them 3 minutes then they are doing it wrong. I would teach them how to do it right and move on with the raid.

Couldn't care less, I'd rather everyone have full rockets. Better than asking why only one rocket went passed and getting "waiting for cooldown"

2 RisposteIf he's using a full handcannon or auto rifle that's the wrong way to go about it. I find NLB to be the fastest way. Even so I still find myself using the glitch less and less.

While everybody hates it, my team does is 99% of the time. Using WoC it takes around 30-60 seconds, so it's not that long. And when you're done and have tons of heavy, you will be happy you did. For me it's worse to hear "omg I have to wait 30 seconds for synth" and "yeah me 36" and "Oh no I'm not gonna make it 2 minutes guys". A bit of stress at the beginning with the Glitch > then stress during the entire raid checking Synth cooldown time. People should be focussed during the fight. [spoiler]this is our opinion[/spoiler]

It gets annoying after the third time people try the glitch and I just leave

I don't care on the first one. It's when we're waiting after every wipe. I alternate: Glitch, Synth, Glitch, Synth

2 RisposteI'm okay with it but if you plan on doing it you better have a weapon that empties fast. If you bring an auto rifle that has 700+ reserve rounds I will actually bite you IRL.

6 RisposteOk here's the deal. If your teams not retarded and has a low ammo primary it is absolutely beneficial. It takes about 20 extra seconds tops... Ammo packs drop everywhere which means no waiting for synths and everybody has full rockets each sword round for crota as well as sword bearer and a synth can be used at ogres.. It's common sense to do it for max fire power and it smooths out every run with nobody scrambling for packs waiting on synths.

Glitch is for scrubs. Don't even need synths tbh...only on hard sometimes. Wasting time because your cheap ass can't collect strange coins pffft. -___-
