Personally I think that they help us to get through the strike quicker.

4 RisposteI solo dang near every nightfall for fun, and I have to say, imho, I think nightfalls with no burn is easier than with burns. I don't get why people say Taurc is the longest though. The devil's lair easily takes longer. And with arc burn, much harder, at least that first room. Hell, even the last, in fact, Sepiks is not as dangerous as a couple stray arc bullets. Omnigul though is the longest and hardest. From a solo perspective, not eating cheese. Everything is fast and easy with cheese. Not hating on cheese, just saying.
-
It depends, I've had Solar on the Nexus and its only the Hobgoblins that can be a problem, otherwise its bonus damage for you and none for them. Then you get strikes like Arc on Omnigal, where most of the enemies do Arc damage. Can make things tricky. Killed Rockets McDickface 3 times very quickly last night, I also cannot understand why people are crying about it. Its easy.
-
They help Yeah, they do 'aid' the enemies if they share that particular burn in their attacks, but we also have to remember that they're just AI. Humans > AI (in most cases).
-
Arc burn omnigul hurts... A lot.
-
1 RispondiWell when it's -blam!- boy valus taruc it helps
-
Depends on what element type the enemies are shooting at you.
-
7 RisposteThe only situation I would ever not want a burn is undying mind with void.
-
It depends on the enemies we're up against.
-
Doesn't make them harder, just makes them more grindy.
-
3 RisposteWell this week will be a bitch, most of the enemies have shields, and with no burn it's gonna be a pain in the ass.
-
3 RisposteIts a double edged sword, and I think Bungie intended it that way. If a majority or all of the enemies in the strike use weapons affected by the burn, then you have to be extra careful. On the other hand, let's say it's solar burn on the Will of Crota nightfall, then it's awesome for us. I'm on the fence about no burn nightfalls. On one hand you don't have to be as cautious, on the other it takes longer especially with epic, lightswitch, angry and juggler.
-
Makes it more fun, even though basically the entire Cabal army is solar, I'd have loved a solar burn on this week... :/
-
This week's nightfall would've been great with Solar Burn going on. However, I managed without it. It really comes down to the luck of the player in my opinion. If Rainbow Burn is on, your quite fine, but if a single burn is on, people may not have that damage type to help out, especially if you solo it. The weekly is a different story though.
-
Depending on the map and burn.
-
2 RisposteThe way destiny gives burns is that whatever the enemy does most is what the burn will be. Ex. Nexus=void

-
Arc omnigul hurts a lot to be honest. But in most cases it helps.
-
You serious ?
-
I want a situational option... If we have solar on a phogoth strike then help.... If we have arc on sepikis.. It kind of harms because then you have to really go try hard camper.
-
3 RisposteSolar burn is always player advantage when you have any combination of VoC, Black Hammer, or Gjallarhorn..... Couldn't care less about enemy type - with solar burn active.... SHITS GOIN DOWN.
-
I feellike they make the run more fun and would be cool thing for players to be able to tweak for shits and gigs on private strikes/story or even pvp just cuz.
-
But it doesn't matter if you have Gjallarhorn. No, seriously! It's so powerful, burn almost doesn't matter. Well, it does, but it doesn't. Get one and you'll see! ;)
-
Honestly, cabal are just such tanks it's nice to know that they can't do shit to me either. Just cheese valus under the ramp. Simple solution.
-
It really just depends. (Neutral meaning both specialize there) Arc Burn vs Fallen = Neutral Arc Burn vs Hive = Neutral Arc Burn vs Vex = Player advantage Arc Burn vs Cabal = Player advantage Void Burn vs Fallen = Player advantage Void Burn vs Hive = Player advantage Void Burn vs Vex = Neutral. (I think slightly more towards Vex because of Torch Hammers, and Nexus' Aeon Maul.) Void Burn vs Cabal = Player advantage Solar Burn vs Fallen = Player advantage Solar Burn vs Hive = Player advantage Solar Burn vs Vex = Semi-Neutral, much more towards player though. (Hobgoblins) Solar Burn vs Cabal = Neutral

3 RisposteThey definitely help witch is why i think i might skip valus this week no burn equals thrown controller.
