Why does the playstation have console exclusives but the Xbox doesn't!!
I would love to try out the hawk moon or Monte Carlo but I can't. Why? Because I'm on Xbox. Why can't the Xbox have a few exclusives!?!

Because Sony paid to have the exclusives. Microsoft has done it in the past with other games. This is nothing new.

1 RispondiYou'll be able to get those things in September. However I'm not all that interested in Xboners getting the Hawkmoon. They'll see how good it is. Then everyone will use it. And then everyone will start crying about how over powered it is. Then it will get nerfed. I feel the majority of people complaining about Thorn come from Xbox. I wished people would quit complaining about Thorn by the way. Do you want Bungie to nerf the Hand Cannons the way they did auto rifles. Because that's what will happen. Because of Suros, all AR's got the shaft. Because of Thorn, all HC's could get it too. Be careful what you wish for. Xbox people will never get to see the true glory of the Hawkmoon if Thorn gets nerfed. Monte Carlo is trash by the way. I don't have it but all my friends do and it just sits in the vault Sorry for the rant. Hawkmoon is wonderful. I hope you get as much joy out of it as I do. HANDS OFF HAND CANNONS BUNGIE!!!

It's amazing how many times this is brought up. Sony has exclusive content for a year because they paid more money to activision/bungie than Microsoft did.

That's why but you'll get it in September I think but the hawkmoon is amazing and the forth Horseman is alright and same with the Monte Carlo

2 RisposteBecause Activision made a year long exclusivity deal with Sony, it's why they only showed up at Sony panels prior to launch and always show themselves using the ps4 etc. The deal ends this fall, we should be getting all the temporary exclusive stuff after that.

Because when the exclusivity deal was offered to Microsoft they turned it down so Bungie/Activision Asked Sony if they wanted it and Sony payed for the year exclusivity Deal. Nothing really more apart from that.

That's because they have a contract with playstation. They have a set amount of time in which their exclusives remain that way (one year) Xbox has no contract with bungie.

Sony has been more successful which lead to more money which enabled them to control the gaming market which resulted in even more profit for Sony to further distance themselves from Xbox. The old saying... Gotta spend money to make money... It was as simple as that. Maybe Xbox will take control on the next gen counsel... Maybe....
