Imagine if you had a friend that had 2 of every exotics and 2 of the best legendary weapons (fate bringer, ect.) and gave you one of each when you were a level 1, what would be the point of the game? I think if they were to put in a trading system I think it would best if the did something like an exotic for an exotic or a rare for rare and so on, tell me what you think!
Edit: also how about items too like strange coins for motes, and vanguard a commendations for a crucible one, once again tell me what you think!
Edit: also do you guys want trading in the first place? Yes or no?
Edit: you guys have many great ideas!
Edit: a lot of people are using datto's idea, please try to be original

Should never happen. I don't want players to get items they don't deserve just because their friends have two. Yes, I know that RNG prevents players from getting things that they, realistically, should have. BUT! The inverse is also true; if trading was put in place, people who've never touched the VoG would be running around with Fatebringers, people who've never touched PoE will get the LoW, etc. I just don't think it would be good for the longevity of the game. What would stop a competent team of 34s from getting 2 Armor and Weapon cores every week and giving them to their lower level buddies?
-
It would break their business model and make Xur, a longstanding reason people still come back every week, completely obsolete with all the exotics on LFG sites. Lbr here people just want an easy way to get stuff and Destiny can be very accomplishment based soo

I'd love to trade some of my extra Gallys for some rare shaders.....

Modificato da Hulkksmash: 7/1/2015 4:33:10 PMIf they introduce trading I hope they also bind certain guns to account to shut the -blam!-ing whiners up. Then the trading topic shit would be non existent because you cant sell/trade the good shit. Go -blam!-ing earn them casual scum

1 RispondiI don't want a weapon/armor trading system, but I would gladly have an engram/class items trading system. Anything that doesn't "break" the game in itself, I'd want it. Heck, even Exotic shards trading would be nice (share the wealth you hoarders!!! :P). But seriously, about the engram trading, I was helping a friend out two days ago getting to level 23 and it sucks that the only way we found to make it fast was to grind the "loot" cave at the entrance of Venus. He got all of his blue equipment in 2 hours while I was grinding missions for the Vanguard for him. Strike gear was only max Light level 12, while the armor from engrams was 15... so guess why we did this method instead! I had tons of blue engrams in my Vault... If only I could have traded him a couple we wouldn't have wasted 2 hours of our time!

2 RisposteI think there should be a trading system but for materials and marks only. No gear and No weapons.
-
If you want guns play the game. Level 29 no raid completions Wants to be Handed gjally.
-
There will never ever be a trade system Duping duping duping

Modificato da Squidwood4513: 4/7/2015 1:31:28 PMTrading system would ruin the game. Destinys loot table is way too small to consider a trading system. They gave you xur of course he doesn't bring much to the table but isn't that good enough. Xur is way to easy to buy guns from he needs higher prices. Bungie tends to screw you on rewards every now and then which is totally fine, I don't expect to get great things every reset and if you did you would get everything so fast because of the small loot table. I think everything is fine the way it is. Now if destiny had double or even triple the amount of legendary and exotic weapons and armor then you guys could start talking about trading systems or bungie could make changes in the way we are rewarded, but until then it's absolutely pointless and would take the fun away well what's left of it. If I could get all guns armor from trading when I was a lvl one I would quit destiny shortly after being 32 what would be the point what would you play for? That isn't fun that's boring. It would be like adding cheat codes to unlock everything. Haha

2 RisposteModificato da way455: 4/7/2015 12:15:02 PMYeah but what would you trade for from a level one? You are describing a gift system, not a trade. That's why that wouldn't work. A trade reward (at the reward screen) is the only viable option that couldn't be exploited or abused. You all did the same thing, you all just want each other's reward. Probably would be the most fair thing the game ever did but that's probably why it will never happen.
-
Modificato da Jcaf8: 4/7/2015 12:34:48 PMI think it should be very strict, like a exotic in the same class. Truth for gally, SGA for thunderlord. Mida would not be tradable yet until the 347 vesta dynasty and FoaF comes out
-
Trading should not be in the game. It's a cheap way of actually getting guns. Not saying that rng isn't but if you put no effort in the game then you shouldn't even have certain guns. Even if there was only trading in a reward screen, it's still the same as receiving a free gun you didn't get because most likely if someone were to trade you an exotic it would be because they own one too many. As in for material trading, you have the option to buy that from the vangard and crucible headquarters. A/R Shards And A/R Energy should be earned through raids. And no I'm not one of those guys that doesn't want Xur to sell ghorn or any good exotic. I can care less about what he sells.
-
Hell no. Trading has broken too many other games. Its just the lazy, entitled, instant gratification mentality of people these days that will screw it up
-
2 RisposteTrading shouldn't be implemented because of it was, then the potential time people will spend trying to get one weapon will disappear. The people will tire of the game quicker and stop playing.
-
1 RispondiI think trading would be great but you can only trade exotics for exotics etc and you can only trade primaries for primaries heavies for heavies etc the would make it so that you can't trade NLB for a gally
-
2 RisposteWho gives a shit if someone else has ____. Seriously.
-
1 RispondiI feel the only way trading can work is trading at the reward screen. Like after a night fall you can request to swap loot. Until you leave the reward screen
-
2 RisposteWhat about lending your equipment for a specific mission? Say I have the Ghorn and HoC. Can't use both for a raid, so I lend HoC to one of my teammates. When he leaves the fireteam the weapon returns to my vault. To avoid abusing this you can put a cool down timer on a weapon before it can be lent out again. Maybe once per week for exotics, and once per day for legendary. Something along those lines.
-
1 RispondiI think they should implement trading. And here's why: So everybody has that one or two or maybe even three things evading them whether it's exotic or legendary or armor or weapon. Now if everyone could just trade for anything they needed no one would play the game so bungee wouldn't be that dumb. What I think should be implemented is a new currency that is earned from grinding and is harder to receive then motes and coins and glimmer. For example: finishing everything raid wise and weekly/ daily strikes you earn 1 coin at the end of the week or something and it is JUST for trading. And in order to trade it MUST be a equal trade both have this trading currency and it costs all your glimmer therefore you must grind for more. Because let's be honest. The only reason it isn't in the game is because it would be to easy to get things. This way you're still playing a ton and working your tail off. That's just a idea though
-
No to trading. The moment you can trade is the moment hacked weapons become a problem. Look at the borderlands series and diablo 3.
-
5 RisposteAny trading would have to have weighted system were things would have to be traded evenly. Exotic for exotic, legendary for legendary, and so on. This way you wouldn't have somebody trading a white common, for an exotic Just my thoughts, I also think trading materials would be nice, once again a straight 1 for 1
-
Trading will work when the amount of worthwhile items people need expands beyond ONE set of raid gear, a small handful of exotics, and arbitrary currencies/materials.
-
Modificato da Sunny: 4/7/2015 2:44:23 AMI think trading would break the "economy". It would be nice, but I think the implementation would be horrible.
-
I think you should trade but only exotics for exotics or legendaries for legendaries.
