OK guys, comet is (if you didn't know already) the second major destiny game release, aka the second destiny, BUT it will not be adding £60 worth of content...
With comet, its going to be the normal destiny we all know and love, but with about 2 dlc's worth of content added, and of course (the most annoying part) all the previous dlc already on the disk for free...
So me myself, am a little outraged that I bought the season pass now... Since not only did I pay £30-£35 for it, its going to be free in the next game...
Should we allow this to happen?
Or should us guys who bought the dlc and season pass be given a little bit of credit for buying what is going to be free in the next game...
I personally would be wanting some sort of discount/perk for buying the dlc and being a loyal player...
What's your opinion?

Dlcs are worth $10 to me. Tdb and how are really part of the whole game so far but broken up for more profit. With the amount comet claims to add, it should be $20 as the first real dlc. I'm very undecided as to whether or not destiny 1 is worth continuing at all.
-
I think its going to be a major update. They're not going to exclude people from new subclasses and damage types because they didnt pay $60. At least i hope not

1 RispondiNot sure if I understand what your trying to say but I will assume new Gaurdians that buy comet without purchasing the core game or the two dlcs will get them free. As a business bungie is invested in the success of destiny over the next ten years. Some will not buy future content from destiny for whatever reason, so they need to bring new people in for this to last even a few years. Picture all the kids at home playing minecraft and skylanders right now. In a few years they mature and so do their games. Why would they pay want to jump into the middle of this franchise and miss the core or pay that much to be caught up. They at least need to make the pre lvl 20 story available. Yeah I know not much of a story. Content will be irrelevant anyway. Just my thoughts.

It should be free

2 Risposte
So me myself, am a little outraged that I bought the season pass now... Since not only did I pay £30-£35 for it, its going to be free in the next game..
Wait...what??? So if I buy Comet...having already bought the previous DLCs, I get Comet, and someone who never bought anything other than the core game, buys Comet, gets all the previous DLCs, for the same price I just spent on Comet alone? Is that what you're saying?
-
1 RispondiI would say yes, but with the lack of content at launch, it's gonna have to be a no if destiny wants to keep and bring back the majority of their player base.
-
30-40 is all I would pay
-
I'll worry about comet after HoW drops.
-
2 RisposteIs there a year between comet and Destiny 2?
-
I don't think I would want to pay near the price of a game for one dlc with a few extra stuff, it better only be 30 dollars or something.

3 RisposteWow anyone concerned about what it costs should find something cheaper in life... I wish oxygen had a price....

3 RisposteModificato da ManlyMcManchops: 4/2/2015 1:07:28 AMHere's my idea. Destiny-Game of the year edition Includes: •Base game •Both expansions (house of wolves and dark below) •Content from "comet" expansion Price: $60
-
5 RisposteBunch of jobless bums
-
Mid way. It includes more than an expansion and less than the full game. Pricing should match the content and set a common trend.
-
5 RisposteIf it's like that then I'm not buying it. I'll just move on to No Man's Sky.
Waay better game. What destiny should have been.
-
Comet should cost, AT MOST, $40. I will not pay full price for an expansion to a game that I already paid full price for.
-
5 RisposteThey should give it for free to those who bought the season pass. Admit they -blam!-ed up their DLCs, revive their player base, and be set for the release of Destiny 2. Instead, when im overcharged for Comet and it inevitably disappoints. Im not revisiting any bungie games
-
Or you could shut up.
-
2 RisposteComet will be double the price of dlc have 10 missions 10 light level increase only 1 raid [dont be retards, vanilla destiny/vog] 3 strikes 3 crucible maps
-
No. Cause it'll just be more repetitive "content". Dark below missions still hack me off. They added nothing, just the mechanics for the missions. The raid, and only part of omnigul's strike is new.
-
40$ should be its price
-
1 RispondiThere is no way in hell bungie will have produced another games worth if content by September. Maybe 40 bucks (double cost of expansion) would be reasonable (assuming there was little more than double expansion content) but not 60.
-
3 RisposteWho said that? How do you know what Comet is if Bungie denied it exists? Last I checked all supposed leaks point to the expansion being 40$, and having lots of new content. I really don't get where people got 60$ from, but they are kinda dumb.
-
I would want $20-$40. $60 is to much. I won't mind paying $60 if they up the content and add a few strike and newer events like iron banner or new weekly events like nf and heroic

2 Risposte
OK guys, comet is (if you didn't know already) the second major destiny game release, aka the second destiny
Comet isn't Destiny 2, it is a major expansion making it more like Destiny 1.5. Destiny 2 isn't like to be released till about Fall 2016 or after.
