Most frustrating way you've died in PvE
I was walking along on Mars trying to complete the knuckle duster bounty, and a few others. Suddenly a phalanx melees me and I go flying across the map and into the air. Sooner than later hitting a wall ending the knuckle duster bounty. I needed only a few more melee kills. What's your story?
Edit:love the stories guys, I've experienced the same ones too. A majority of them. Some not so much.
Edit 2: if you guys have videos of your stories please do share. Many of them are pretty damn funny. Also there are a lot of trip mine deaths.

Yesterday, while trying to make orbs of light, I was playing the Siege Of the Warmind mission. My Radiance was full, so I went to jump on a platform and activate it so I could lob grenades at the several waves of thrall that come down that one staircase. Well, I activated my Radiance in midair, but the momentum of the jump, and my inability to move in midair during the activation animation, sent me over the edge of the catwalk to my death. Ugh...

Gold was in range as I started to invoke my power to decimate the last few. Suddenly my XBox One controller stops working. No power unleashed. No anything. Pretty easy to die in that situation. Yeah. I didn't get gold on that one.

I kill it then I jump over the exploding head to try to land on the platform behind it but I hit the railing instead. Take damage and it bounces me back then I get killed by the exploding head anyway. My mouth literally dropped for that death before straight out laughter for five minutes.

I have sparrowed myself off the map with only a few hundred more xp for the 9000 xp without dying bounty too many times.

Firing a gjallarhorn without realizing there's a thrall a few feet away away from me and the proximity detonation causes it to explode and kill me Firing a gjallarhorn at the exact moment my friend decides he wants to throw up a bubble around me, and then blames me for the oversoul popping up -_-

This always happens, in nightfall, I tell my team that I'm going to shoot a rocket at phogoth really fast, they say ok, then one of them just runs up and jump in front of my rocket and kills me. WTF!! pure rage for a second

3 RisposteThis has happened a few times on the same strike, and both times had the strike without dying bounty. Psion Flayers after you complete the second section and begin to go up the stairs "Killed by architect". I guess the dust on the floor caused me to slip, break an ankle, and hit my head rendering me dead.

Had about 9500 on the xp bounty in patrol then accidentally flew off the edge on my sparrow. Needless to say I turned off my xbox and stopped playing.

Pushed off the center island while we're about to kill a atheon holding the relic. The whole team almost died, luckily one person was in the far back with a rocket for the final blow.
