Why no hype for Invective?
Its rare, it regenerates ammo like Ice Breaker, add the recent buff to shotguns and shouldn't this be one of the best weapons in the game right now? Yet, no one is really talking about it much... Why?

It's a great gun, but in all honesty there are many guns that could replace it. In pvp it's cool, but found verdict secret handshake sword breaker felwinters lie and two to the mourge are all weapons that could definitely replace it, so you could use maybe one if you're beloved primary or exotic primaries. The teen wearing ammo is cool, but it doesn't regenerate half as fast as icebreaker, making That perk not so outstanding. And it also isn't used in pve much at all. When do people really use shotguns in nightfalls or raids. Sure you can use them a little, but really no help, and again not worth the exotic slot. Should you get this gun when you have the chance? Yes. It's fun to have and is pretty good. Is it the first gun to look to when using in pve or even crucible? Not really

Love Invective what I use on earth patrols to slowly get that 10k kills

Would be great if it didn't take up exotic slot.

Because it's outclassed by any shotty with shot package in PvP and not worth the exotic slot in PVE.

I use it at Deathsinger. It takes down Knights with one clip. Takes Deathsinger down quick too.

1 RispondiRare? LEL It really isn't that great. It's only good for killing Bladedancers in pvp and is pretty decent in pve.

3 RisposteNot good for PvE. Most bosses have 1 hit kill melees so you can't go toe to toe. Don't forget about lightswitch in nightfalls/weeklies

It's my go to weapon when I solo stuff with my defender titan while wearing no back up plans, wrecks everything

However, fusion rifles have been nerfed recently, making shotguns in general a little more effective in PvP. Also, when the new update comes which will drastically reduce the amount of secondary ammo we get, expect there to be more 'hype' for invective then.

And it's a shotgun... Wait, does it have solar burn? Maybe, still not the best. It can take one full clip of invective to do what one felwinter's hit does because of the range and impact, plus, you don't have to reload the felwinters after.
