Bloodborne difficulty
I do like this game.. But does it seriously need to be this difficult. I would rate it much higher if it wasn't.

I also don't understand why a developer would make a game so difficult. I've tried playing these type games (Dark Souls, Lord of Fallen, and Bloodborne) and I just can't find the enjoyment. They are terribly frustrating. Maybe I don't have the patience and/or temperament to play them. Edit: So, I played Bloodborne for about 20 hours now. I still think parts of the game are hard (certain boss fights) but I really enjoy the game so far. I'm not sure what "clicked" with this game versus Dark Souls, but I find Bloodborne much more enjoyable.

It's the point, much like the Souls series. Get good at the game and it'll be one of the most rewarding you will play.

2 RisposteNever played a dark souls game before. Bloodborne is awesome because it makes you think and strategize instead of just running in and killing everything. Yes it's frustrating but I get satisfaction out of competing difficult tasks whether it be in a video game or in life. They need to make more games that don't hold your hand and tell you where you need to go.

The point of the game is for it to be difficult it's made by the same dudes who made darksouls and the whole thing about that game was you are supposed to "prepare to die" a lot so if you don't like the challenge you should probably stop playing now because it only gets harder and harder until it's rock hard and it hurts your anus

It has it's moments like wtf for sure. I ran around for 3 hours killed 2 bosses and collected a lot of stuff. I honestly must say it felt great.

They feel cheated out of their $65 because they weren't warned. To those people I have a few tips. First, don't give up! It gets easier! Don't treat this title like Fable. The enemies will punish you and you'll pay for it. Play off-line. Take your time. Pull enemies away from large groups by throwing rocks at them. Once you've built up enough blood echoes haul your butt back to the hunters dream(lamp check point) and upgrade your gear. If you die after you upgrade you'll still have your gear. If you die after clearing out an area, try to make it back to the spot where you died(without dying again) and look for a blood stain or an enemy with glowing red eyes. You'll get your blood echoes back. Find a gate? Be sure to open it. Take time to look for short cuts. I'll be honest. I got super pissed when I first started playing. I had to dig into some old school gaming roots for this one. Take your time, play smart and you'll be rewarded.

Just take your time with it... In fact with this game I would honestly suggest buying the strategy guide. Also this game is a sequal to demon souls which is the hardest in the souls series so expect it to be more difficult.

Also I love the forum bad@sses coming out telling the author of this post to 'get better'. The freaking developer of the game says it is hard. You people slinging hate need to get a life.

4 RisposteIt's not that difficult, it just has a super steep learning curve. After you know what you're doing you can breeze through it pretty quickly.
