Here's my predicament:
I want to get to 32 as fast as I can. I've got the gear I need, but it seems that every Crota run I complete, I only get enough shards to level one defensive upgrade for one piece of gear. So, I think I'm debating on trying to get into a Hard Mode group (which will probably be harder than HM itself).
Do you think I have a chance?
EDIT: Wow, a lot of positive replies. Thanks everyone. I was expecting to get domed on in the comments.
EDIT 2: Thanks again for the replies everyone.
I ended up joining a Fireteam, and made it past the Deathsinger (until our Fireteam leader and his friends left). Needless to say, I had plenty of deaths. Especially the Bridge and Ir Yut.
Guess there is always tomorrow to finish Crota himself.

2 RisposteIf you have decent experience of the raid, and can hold your own, then it shouldn't be a problem. My clan run HM with 30s too. They are a risk, but we get it done. Even carried a 29 through before. They couldn't even do any damage. They all had ??? lol.

A 30 can so yes
-
I have ran through it a few times with my level 31 warlock , it just depends on your load out and sub class perks .

Modificato da Ujustdied: 3/26/2015 9:40:32 PMAdd me if you are on ps4 and I'll help Ujust-_-died <---psn
-
Yes as long as you know what to do
-
I ran sward with my 31 warlock. Hell ya it can be done and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. It's not easy but if your experienced and know what to do and have good team members it shouldn't be a problem.

Modificato da Dannyboy: 3/26/2015 9:40:02 PM31 is fine as long as you have a 32 to run the sword, if you have good weapons and common sense it shouldn't be too hard, I've done it with 3 31s in the group without too much trouble. Really depends on the group as well though...
-
1 RispondiI see a lot of 31's die on the lanterns, but other than that, so long as you're smart, you'll be fine. I have no problem with a split group of three 32's and three 31's in hard mode.
-
2 RisposteA full team of level 30 did HM crota, dont worry lol, just have a helmet with Infusion, or Red Death and you'll do just fine :)
-
Gotta get the Eris Morn rank 4. That'll get you to 32 much faster.
-
-
The first time I beat Crota on hard I was the only 32, simply because I was the swordbearer. We dropped him every time without a problem and no one died. It can certainly be done.
-
It's easy. I ran it the other day with 4 31s. I ran sword and my buddy distracted boomers with his bubble.
-
31's can be an asset. 30's can get carried no problem, but really don't do much to help the team at the end.
-
Its possible
-
I do all the time, can't get boots to get level 32 and don't have enough shards to level up the gear I do have
-
As long as the swordbearer is 32 and the group is decent you shouldnt have issues.

Modificato da MurdrTrain: 3/26/2015 9:33:47 PMAs a 31 hunter with don't touch me's, you should actually be able to solo the abyss. There's actually plenty of people who are willing to take 31s up to crota, it's just at crota when people get picky. What system you on? Also as a 31 with a mostly maxed gally you'll probably be more useful than a 32 with hunger. Provided you can avoid taking too much damage.
-
yes he can

Modificato da Firebreather428: 3/26/2015 9:29:29 PMYea no sweat
-
I beat HM Crota with 2 32s 2 31s and 2 30s And it wasn't just a Crota checkpoint it was the entire raid start to finish in under an hour

It can be done but they just need to remember they don't do as much damage and that they are wearing paper armor more so than the 32's. It is easy with groups that know exactly what to when and when you don't hit the bugs but when you hit the bugs you need as much armor and damage as possible to maybe recover cause I as of yet have to see 31's take the oversoul out on HM.

What console?
