Close Phogoth Door (Closet)
Make it so that all players have to be in the small room so that the front door opens. When the front door opens the back door should close.
Make less adds spawn if you have to, but Phogoth should not be cheesed every damn time.

Entitlement generation feel they are entitled to the free kill. I remember back when people enjoyed a challenge.
1 person can do it 100% from the doorway with 0 chance of taking any damage. How can anyone be this lazy that they are ok with a [b]boss[/b]being a free kill?
Also I'm not saying more cover shouldn't be added to the main room... People should just have to go in the main room. It should be [b]fun.[/b]
Glad lots of players also realize this is dumb.

Yeah I got pissed today, was doing the vanguard tiger strike (24) teammates were 30,29, and I was 29 and they wouldn't go into the big room. So -blam!-ing sad, not hard at all.

I'll nightfall however I want You can go into that death room during the nightfsll....let me know how that goes. If you are talking regular strike rotation yeah there is no reason to be in the cheese room

On arc burn nightfall the back room is the best option. On roc strikes go in and shotgun all the things

The only way to clear this room is to make a 12-guardian fireteam. 12 people killin aliens would be awesome!

This is like you saying that using icebreaker is a cheese, and we should all have to go and collect ammo to play right. Standing in a location that is provided for you on the map is not a cheese. It's a strategy.

You're supposed to get immerse yourself into a game. If you don't then you're doing it wrong. You're supposed to use every advantage possible to you to win. That room is an advantage. It's not my fault they made the bosses so immobile.

I have only ever fully cheesed phogoth once and that was when i carried my 28 friend through the nightfall, roc strikes i always run in and get pissed at the people who spawn the wizards and knights on us, on certain nightfalls i can understand cheesing it but roc strike not at all, i wouldnt lose any sleep if they shut the room

I feel like a better solution is for you to find a fireteam that doesn't want to cheat. I haven't read through all the replies, but you said there are a lot that agree with you. Play with them. =) This way everyone can play the way they want.

I use the cheese but agree with you that the door should close after you enter the open area. But during nightfall it's nice to have a safe place and there isn't any in that open area.

I don't cheese Phogoth every single time. When I do a RoC strike and it is Phogoth, I always run around the room pooting on stuff. :)

There is no door there dummy. Just an entry way to the shrieker room. And do you like actually beating nightfalls? Cause there is basically nowhere to hide in the main room. So if you like being bombarded non stop by Knights with boomers during arc burn then go out there yourself. Just don't expect a revive from anyone.

This game used to be fun. I'm sure everyone did the nightfalls the right way to start with but there's nothing new to do now, so I'm sure a lot of people just do the nightfall for the loot not for the challenge.
