GJALLARHORN HAS OFFICIALLY BECOME AN (you're welcome, grammar C#%ks) OBSESSION (UPDATE!!!)
Over 300 hours of gameplay, and not once have i touched Gjallarhorn. That's all i want. And the title is correct , it has become a obsession and ill give you proof. 2 night ago i had a dream i was looking in my inventory and i happened to have 2, not 1, BUT 2 GJALLARHORNS. I was so excited in the dream that i kept both and made sure my Titan always held one and the other i switched between my warlock and hunter (My titan is my baby). i tried to figure out (in the dream still) where these 2 pieces of sweet mother of sexy rocket launcher came from because i couldn't think of what raid or nightfall i got them from. SADLY, I WOKE UP AND QUESTIONED IF I ACTUALLY HAD GJALLARHORN HOPING WHAT I JUST WENT THROUGH WASN'T A DREAM (seriously you've all woken up and thought your dream was real, thats how real the dream was) BUT IT F$&#ING WAS A DREAM! So this is my last week of 6 Raids per week and 3 nightfalls. I have all my characters at level 32, majority of the Raid gear from Crota (even though my warlock can never get the chest piece and my hunter cant get the helmet... RNG my A@*Hole), and 80% of the exotics in the game (mainly in weapons but i have most of the titan armor too). After this weekly reset is done (3/24) and i do the raids and nightfalls, and i find that i did not receive Gjallarhorn once again, im hanging my Sash(titan), Cloak(Hunter) and Arm Bracelet(another thing, warlocks couldnt get a little more decorative than that?) up until HoW comes out. RNGesus is a lie.
(note: if you are going to say im a crybaby or stop bitching, stfu before you state it. You have to acknowledge that its pretty bad when you have dreams about playing a video game and not being in it or the game character itself. Thats how much i play Destiny,so much i want to play it in my sleep)

Ill admit when i wrote those i was having a bad day and not because of Gjallarhorn. However, i just want to make it official, i dont care anymore. It is indeed just a game and i am not going to rage quit over one exotic. In fact, im just gonna go on Vaca with the wife for a week and come back next week and put in maybe 3 nightfalls and 1 or 2 raids total. So, good luck guardians, ill see you all when HoW has previews.

I think I have about 600 hrs and no ghorn.. I've met people with 1500 hrs and no ghorn. I had a dream about the ghorn too. I think this is my week

2 RisposteI think the thing about Gjallarhorn is, that it is kind of a "perpetual motion" in the forums. Yes, it is a great rocket launcher. Yes, it probably is the best rocket launcher. Why do people want it? Sure, some people want it because it is a great rocket launcher. But I think, and this is just my own opinion so I might be wrong, that people just want Gjallarhorn because people want Gjallarhorn. Seriously I would not even have cared about it if the forums were not filled to the brim with posts about how people want it and not have it and how people got it etc. But I do not mean to say people should not want it, I just find the reason interesting. Good luck on getting it, I found mine in the VoG hard chest last week.

I earned my first ghorn at 1300 hours and my second at 1310 hours. RNG is a mean fickle creature. There will be a gun that RNG refused to give you. That is when xur comes into play.

Do you not realize that with only 300 hours of gameplay you don't get to be mad? Did someone not inform you of that? Most of us have double or triple of that amount of gameplay before we get our first. Stop complaining. Gjallarhorn is simply too powerful to be in the hands of just anyone.

People ask so much to get gjally but don't do night falls or raids. Your chances get very slim

My friend has 600 on Xbox 360 and 550 on the one and ghorn is the last exotic he needs. I got mine at 715 hours so 300 really isn't much. You're doing good fine without it so it'll come whenever don't go crazy over it.

I've dreamt I won the lottery. I decided I wanted one of the seats on the mission to Mars. On very rare occasions I dream I'm not one but to fish struggling to swim up stream (anyone have a dream book?). I used to play San Andreas soo much I dreamt I was driving around San Fierro.

Kid stop complaining. There is no reason to. You just have to play and hope you get one. I have over 5 days of gameplay and I have only got 4 or 5 exotics and the thing is I bought most of them or got an exotic bounty. You just have to get lucky. There is no other way to get an exotic.

I got kinda lucky and got 1 early on and another just after exotic patch. So I kept my 300 level one maxed instead of upgrading and just flip the 331 between characters. Much easier now with app. I hear you though, there's a lot of stuff I still haven't had drop yet. And F all you xur haters I finally for my red death for my collection. Don't need it, just wanted it lol.

I had a couple of dreams like that so I know your pain , it's like giving up an addiction , you go through stages and once you get to the stage I am , you really don't care too much about it , In fact if you actually get it , you will think , I spend all this time for it ? It's a great weapon , but it's not " my life is complete , I have found the holy grail !! My Excalibur !! " you will use it lvl it and then the novelty will wear off and you will move on and never even look back at it
