To all you thorn haters out there...
Theres a lot of post on the forums atm about the thorn and that everyone who uses it is bad and is a scrub and so on and so on. To recieve the thorn you have to grind through a long and elusive bounty. If we have done the bounty why the -blam!- are we not allowed to use the weapon?
Prove to me why I should stop using the thorn u "thorn haters"

Go ahead and use it all you want bro, but you ARE a scrub if you do. That's just how it is. You shouldn't let other people's opinions worry you that much anyway. Just play however you want, and when you're wondering why everyone is teabagging you, it's cause you use Thorn. By the way, that bounty is easy.

Thorn bounty is not long, hard, or grindy. It's easy as it gets, the Thorn was the first Exotic I got and I was a level 25. With rares and one legendary fusion rifle.

I personally think that the thorn is over rated. I beat it all the time. Everyone want to know how? Be more accurate. I like using fang of it yut and I pop heads all the time. It's much more accurate. It's hard to keep accuracy up with thorn so if you strafe whilst shooting, you'll be fine. There are so very few people that are pinpoint with thorn

2 RisposteTho I dislike the gun as it has killed me in some really annoying ways. I am no one to tell another player how to play. Use it, I may hate you for using it (the same goes for [b][u]ALL[/u][/b] shotguns), but this is only my hatred for myself for being bested being vented towards he/she who bested me. But hey we have all been hated for using a certain gun or tactic.

2 RisposteIt really is lame to come up against in crucible. If you're not at full health a bodyshot will kill you no matter what. That's pretty shit. That being said if you wanna use it, use it. It's your gun and it's your game. Just don't expect high fives from me. I'm sure you can live with that.

I've had Thorn for a while, and back when I was about a level 26, I used to use Thorn and ABSOLUTELY WRECK. It was wayyyy less common, so it was fun trolling the -blam!- out of everyone.

6 RisposteEveryone can use what they want, but coming from a week 2 thorn user it does need a Nerf. The stability buff was over the top. Thorn used to be a long range, precision, high risk/ high reward weapon. Now it is a low risk/ high reward, trigger spamming mess. The honor of Thorn must be restored!

The only guns I hate in the crucible are the guns that are very powerful (OP?), that I cannot obtain through my own efforts (RNG) weapons like Suros when it was OP. It is pretty irritating to keep getting killed by a weapon that you have no ability to earn other then through the blessings of RNG.

The only class that had any reason to complain would be the Hunter(s) class, but this was before we had the right weapons (V.o.G.). Due to not having the void sub-class, but those days are over. As for the o.p. I enjoy the challenge, please continue to perfect your Thorn game, because you're going to help me/others become well rounded to all styles. People just need to endure the loss and adapt for the next Thorn encounter. Have a good day and see you on the battle-field.
