To all you thorn haters out there...
Theres a lot of post on the forums atm about the thorn and that everyone who uses it is bad and is a scrub and so on and so on. To recieve the thorn you have to grind through a long and elusive bounty. If we have done the bounty why the -blam!- are we not allowed to use the weapon?
Prove to me why I should stop using the thorn u "thorn haters"

5 RisposteI love Thorn and have upgraded it to 331. It's the reason my TLW sits there collecting dust, but I tried using some different weapons this week. If you think Thorn is good, Red Death needs a new word entirely. I soared through the Bad Juju bounty with it in 9 full matches. Broke my own records for most kills, highest score and best k/d in a single match. I haven't even unlocked the health regen perk yet. I now have the Invective bounty. Thorn would have been my go to for that. Now I'm torn between Thorn and Red Death.

Been using my brand new Thorn in Iron Banner. Went from rank 1 to 4 yesterday. After a day of straight usage I can see why others would be mad by others using it. Plenty of people found ways to counter me but I still won 85% of the matches yesterday. I still died mostly to shotguns/fusion rifles tho. And when that was happening I pulled out my shotty so it wasn't all thorn but if you were 15+ft away Id get the poison shooter out!

The only Thorn users I hate are the ones using a 56k dial up modem. It usually means I'm dead before I can raise my weapon.

You should not stop using Thorn You are also not allowed to bitch when it is fixed to be a 3 shot head kill instead of 2. Signed, >17k kills with Thorn since week 2

I've got three of those damned things, and I can not use them. All I hear in PVP is that weapon firing, at least two people a game are using it.

I earned Thorn as well and I believe it is over powered. I feel like it should be able to kill in 2 headshots however the mark of the devourer either needs to be reduced or Thorns impact to be reduced so the mark needs to tick over completely on both headshots for it to kill. For example a headshot should do 72 and the mark to do 28 after 4 ticks. So it would take 2 headshots and 8 ticks to kill.

8 RisposteI did tha bounty in a matter of an hour or two. Its not that hard. Just honestly stopped by to say The Last Word outshoots the thorn any day so please continue to use your hand cannon. Just gives me more easy kills.....

2 RisposteAt least w thorn, my screen goes up in flames so I know to take cover. Against a TLW user, I'm dead before I can hit jump. If thorn gets nerfed, all the thorn users will migrate to TLW. Think there's complaints now? Yea, wait for that to happen. And lets not forget about the HM. Those magic bullets stack more often than anyone chooses to believe resulting in plenty of 2hk's, and plenty of OHK's through a series of matches. You see that a sniper glare, fire off one shot and duck, ding, 262 dmg OHK.

Did it twice, much faster the 2nd time. It's a gun for scrubs. I feel my blood rush when I hear a thorn, I immediately give chase with last word. Feel like shin malphur. Or if they're exceptionally skilled, jaren ward :P

1 RispondiNot gonna lie, started using thorn in PVP recently and came across another thorn user. First thoughts were: "Ouch! OUCH! The hell was that? Thorn? That's what I've been doing to people? I'm an asshole!" But then they buffed pulse rifles and red death so now I don't feel so bad anymore. I did it anyways I just don't feel bad about it anymore.

I really thought you were going to say something to say this weapon requires skill or something that makes it hard to use. But nope. Still a scrub. You're just asking why we consider you a scrub with your "are we not allowed to use this weapon"
