What would you trade?
If player trading was added into destiny, what would you want and what would you be willing to trade for it? Could be anything, could be exotics, legendaries, glimmer, marks, strange coins, anything.
If you see somebody who wants something you have, reply to them saying if you would accept their trade or not.
Comment like this:
Person: I would trade Gjallarhorn for Truth
Other person: I have truth, and I'll take that trade. BTW you're stupid.

I think being able to trade one exotic for another with a player on your friends list once per week is not broken. If the player with Gjallarhorn had multiples and needed Truth to complete his exotic collection, it wouldn't be daft at all. I would say it is a smart move if he plays Crucible, as the latter is much better than the former there.

But tbh the best way would be if the weapons had a fixed price set by Bungie. You could trade, yes, but not for your own price or trade off. It would be fixed. I love the idea of a market but there aren't enough items to make this work without killing the game fast. 20ish exotics is not enough nor is a handful of legendaries. I say a handful because most legendaries are simply a version of another one. Cosmestically and usage wise.

2 RisposteThis is why trading would be stupid. Some incredibly unfair trades would take place, and everyone gets every exotic, then everyone gets bored, then everyone quits playing the game. Example: Person A has 9 NLBs and 0 Gjallarhorn. Person B has 5 Gjallarhorns and is only missing NLB. Trade. Every one of us has multiple copies of a certain gun that another person cannot get, no matter how hard they try. Most of us are only missing a handful of exotics by now, and we're chasing the carrot. Once you get the carrot, you stop playing. Maybe not everyone, but a lot will. Bungie understands this, they're not stupid, so they will never implement a trading system because they will likely lose a crap ton of players because of lack of motivation to log on.

Considering I have every exotic except gjallahorn, mida, Monte Carlo and nechrochasm id probably trade 15k glimmer plus my spare icebreaker for a gjallahorn. Or my spare icebreaker directly for a mida or montecarlo.
