Let's say your future (or next for you older gentlemen) child is homosexual...Do you care? Be honest now, nobody is going to check you. Just please be kind to others in their opinions if they post them below.
Before anyone says it:
1. I'm doing this to settle and argument with a friend.
2. Homophobic, by definition, is the fear of being or being in the presence of homosexuals. Therefore, to call someone homophobic would be saying they have a fear of gays. Although, oppressing people with different sexuality is barbaric at the least, I just hate to see people use a misapplied word in their argument.
Edit: For clarity the question isn't wether you'd love them or accept them or not, of course you would or atleast I hope you would. The question is would you care if you future (or next) child is homosexual?
Again please be respectful of others
I for one wish for all my children to be heterosexual.

As I said to a friend... "So long as he never comes home with cum on his face."

2 RisposteI want my son to be hetero, I want grandkids.

Kill him

I love my son, I don't care I'll always support him. In my opinion I'd hope he is not gay because I think it's an easier life as there is too Many homophobic dick heads in this word but let's all hope these view's die out by the time he is grown up.

2 RisposteIf my kid was homosexual I would love em but I would wish they were heterosexual because I want grandchildren and if.for some reason I only have one child .-.
-
6 RisposteIf you aren't willing to love and accept your child regardless of who they turn out to be, you shouldn't have kids, period. Doesn't matter if they turn out to be trans or gay, if they turn out mentally or physically disabled, or what profession they choose. So to answer your question, I wouldn't want my hypothetical children to be heterosexual or homosexual, because what I want is irrelevant. I really couldn't care less what they are, I'll support them regardless.
-
God there's a lot of homophobic people on here.
-
Don't case ill support him..... Though it will be weird if were alone.... Or what if I have a daughter? ⊙﹏⊙
-
it's his choice not mine, if that is how my son feels I will support him I wouldn't force him to be something he is not. I would love my son either way
-
I'm fine with it still love him just don't be a shemale

75 RisposteI firmly believe that attractions and the lifestyle of homosexuality come from how the child is raised and the influences that surround them. There is no such thing as being born gay or hardwired to be attracted to the same sex. It all comes from the environment of which the child grows up in. My religious beliefs is against homosexuality, and so I would raise my kid(s) that it is wrong. I could go on with pages, and links, and videos on why I am against it, but the important thing is that you don't confuse my stance on the matter as hate against people who are gay, only that I cannot approve of the lifestyle, or more specifically, the act of such relations. I do not hate the persons themselves, as it is not my place to judge.
Only God can judge.
There's a difference

If my future opened up to me and told me he was homosexual, nothing would change. Yes at first I would be a little depressed (there goes my grandchildren) but after thinking, I will be okay. I would still love the child, and care for him/her. The parents who neglect and abandon their children for being homosexual are the problem here. NOT homosexuality.

1 RispondiIf I had a daughter that was a lesbian, I wouldn't be able to threaten to cut her girlfriend's balls off if she treated my daughter wrong...
I wouldn't care if my kids were homosexual though.
The first option sounds really weird, it makes me think of a dad shouting at his kid that he'll join the football team and he'll like it because its what the dad wants. I wouldnt want to force my kids to be gay, if they like someone they like someone, but if they hurt my kid emotionally or phisically, thats when shit goes down.
-
I'm totally fine with it, but in return, we will make gay butt jokes a family thing! It'll build his character, and it'll be hilarious at dinner parties.
-
Jokes on you, I don't have children.
-
I'm fine with my kids being gay but if I only have one I'd like there to be a way to carry my family name.
-
I would give less shits than that thrall that DOESN'T -blam!-ING DIE!
-
1 RispondiI would strike that spawn of satan down in the name of the lord, I would banish him and his evil from my home. I would disown his existence. I would then have sexual intercourse with my special bible that I made a hole in.

I am going to ask if he looks at bananas any differently
-
Why would you care? I mean, seeing them is just seeing another human being that they happen to love.. It'd be like being judgemental for skin color or hair color or eye color. As long as they don't start going at it on the dinner table, I don't see how homophobia could possibly kick in

I left this on another topic. It only seems fitting to leave it here too.
If you're going to do something, you might as well try your damndest to be the best at it.
3 Risposte
homophobic, by definition, is the fear of homosexuals.
Actually, it isn't. Whilst phobia denotes fear of something, in this case it is used to describe an Intolerance.
-
I'm fine with it, whatever keeps them happy:)
-
Well it really doesn't affect my life. So no not really. My child is still my child and i still get to do whatever i want.
