2 RisposteWell if your not in it for the logic than your in it for the emotion or benefit. So it comes down to this: Choice 1): Religion. Is like living in your parents house in which most major decisions and rules are made for you. You will have a sense of immediate family but at the cost of isolating yourself from other people outside that family. Choice 2): Atheism. Is like going to college free to make your own decisions but at the cost of taking responsibility for them. You will not have as close a sense of family but will be less isolated from forming new connections with people.

You do good because it's who YOU are, not because of fear of punishment or hope of rewards. It lets you see and understand that all the things that happen in this world are things that humanity can grasp a hold of, and change, not just part of some "divine plan".

Why should you be a Christian? Besides the Bible is there any reason to make you think there could be a god? The only reason why we beileve it is because people brainwashed our ancestors into Beileiving it.
