Lvl 32 IB gear legit?
After this IB I'm gonna finally reach lvl 32. I don't raid for various reasons--won't get into it but it's been very unpleasant.
Is it legit in your eyes or not? Please briefly explain.
Edit: I have two CE completions and got two pieces of armor. You know what I did? Nothing. One guy soloed lamps and a warlock jumped off the ledge at bridge. That sucked! Then we glitched Crota :(
Edit 2: Seems the community has spoken. Minus a few die hard raiders, seems it's legit.

6 RisposteTo all the people who say it is easier, do you actually think the raid is that hard? Because I sure as hell don't. All it takes is fairly alright players who listen and you complete it easily.

32 = 32 but keep one thing in mind. Don't be that 32 without an extra heavy ammo perk.

Iron banner gear is way more difficult to get . I got full raid gear on my hunter after my second crota run . Iron banner makes you put in countless hours grinding . Which in my opinion is way more satisfying then a random drop

Anyone who says no is just butt hurt they had to work so very hard for raid gear when you can just do the ib now for lvl 32 gear so just get a tear jar and keep their tasty ssdness xD

So therefore any gear earned in crucible is significantly harder to obtain than PVE gear IMO. And I raid a lot. Heck for awhile people where disconnecting from the game to freeze Crota..in order to complete it..on normal mode..

1 RispondiIt's actually more legit than raid gear. Think about it. Raid gear can be given to you by chance and you don't even have to participate to get it. But iron banner forces you to grind extremely long hours AND pay thousands of glimmer just to buy it. Iron banner is more legitimate.

Is it legit? Yeah. Is it impressive? Nah. Is it as good? Hell nah. Raid gear perks are way better.

1 Rispondimore legit than crota gear! Lot of work needed to get those ranks in iron banner and it requires different ever changing strategies and skilled hands. Only cheese in iron banner is lag.

It is. Grinding IB is not a walk in the park. It takes time. Levels are levels and the way you reach them is not important.

38 RisposteI wouldn't exactly call it legit. Completing a Raid is a lot harder than beating other players. Players can be really bad. Players can be really good. Who you're up against is the variable. With a Raid, the players are the variable. The Raid is always the same difficulty. So, in the end, you can grind and grind to get those pieces of Iron Banner armour. Or, you could actually get gud and get the Raid gear. If you use the Iron Banner gauntlets, greaves or chest armours to be 32, that's alright. If you use an Iron Banner helmet or an Exotic Helmet to gain the 32 light-cap without owning the most recent Raid helmet, it's not legitimate.

Modificato da Erijian: 3/19/2015 8:05:59 AMIt's legit, but I personally won't do Hard Mode Raids with a player that's 32 in full Iron Banner gear unless they have previous Raid experience. It's not the level or gear that matters to me so much, it's just overall knowledge.

You grind and work raids for random gear drops, then you grind the random iron banner for rewards in that faction what ever sounds legit to me I mean pvp only nuts have to have something that helps them get to lv32 if their not going to raid. Besides if its not legit than neither is Xur or the lv31 gear you can now buy in the tower

Do you really care that much what other people think about how you gain lvl? Why should you? Who are we to you and you to us but a faceless/nameless stranger. As long as you aren't cheating if it's in the game for you to get its 'legit'.
