Why would you ever skip a chance at a legendary/exotic weapon/armor? Especially getting the xp buff. To those grinding iron banner, you might want to get the xp buff first

It doesn't. If you do a strike you get 31 xp instead of the normal 25

Closer to ranking up my faction, saving packages for the next update in hopes of getting higher damage guns. Literally 0 reason to skip the nightfall.

I don't need the packages now anyway, why waste them?

I think he was trying to say that you wont get new weapons or armor from your old packages just like you cant get new items from old engrams. They patched that when they messed with the engram decryption back before the DLC.

Then why did my buddy get 33 light (level 31) armor the first day the dlc came out? Not to mention his two to the morgue shotgun, which is new, correct?
